Virtually all Nebraska residents are Husker fans. Whether you attended college there is irrelevant.

It's not like in Kansas, where those who have any class and live in homes with actual foundations are Jayhawk fans, while those who live in trailers, wear bib overalls with their names embroidered on them to work, and have difficult reading are K-Lite fans.

Versus a bunch of hillbillies that can't even watch their team play in its bowl because:

a) their team sucks and can't get into a decent bowl
b) the bowl they can get into, if you can even call the Texas Bowl a "bowl," is only on the NFL network
c) Manhattan is such a craphole that you don't get the NFL network.
d) Thus you can't even watch your team play.

That's just damn funny. Only 14% of the country can watch the game, even if they wanted to...

Hey Cornhole fans, if KSU is so pathetic, why is it that you lurk and post here so often? Maybe since your clearly better than everyone else in the Big 12 in everything, maybe the Ohio State, Michigan, USC, and ND boards is where you'd be better suited. Alright guys, I've had enough.  Take it easy on K-lite.  I'm sure most of you guys know someone that doesn't really have any friends because of some social disorder.  This guy I used to work with, strangely enough also a Nebraska fan, didn't really have any friends, he sucked at his job, his kids had no respect for him, his wife hated him so much that her only chance at happiness came in the form of the jelly donut kind, and really the only positive thing he had going for him was his beloved huskers were winners.  Every time something made him feel small and insignificant or worthless as a human being; he would spout off that my wildcats would never achieve the greatness that his Huskers have, and he'd run off random useless facts about why his team was better, and why mine would always be worse.  I suppose it gave him some satisfaction in his life.  I think it was some time around fall or winter of 2004 that I came into his office where I found him quietly sobbing.  He saw me trying to slowly ease my way backwards away from the embarrassment when he leapt to his feet trying to embrace me, telling me that I was the only friend he had.

It was that day that I realized that no matter how insignificant a role you may think you are playing in some one's life, it may be the only thing keeping them from blowing their brains out.  Every day between then and now, I've said a little prayer for him and people like him.  "God, please give them meaning in life outside of a bunch of 18-20 year old boys playing a sport." 

In reality, we should all feel sorry for K-Lite. 

Hang in there buddy, you'll find self worth some day!

Never banged her.  In fact I've only seen her from the neck up.  One day she stopped by work to drop off his lunch, she wouldnt' even get out of her van... She just called him to come outside then threw his lunch on the pavement as she drove off laughing.   Sad...

So what the hell is the deal with the Texas Bowl anyway? You can tell the bowl system is diluted and broken when teams that barely win half their games qualify for a bowl.

I read the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for the diagnosis of Mental Disorders) and didn't find that in there.  Strange, I will keep reading and look through the newest edition.

I can't imagine the lack of self esteem you must be dealing with to warrant such blatant cries for help.  I'm only trying to warn you, negative outcries and talking down to your superiors is only going to worsen the situation.  Try focusing on something positive.  Sometimes taking up a new hobby can help with confidence.  Have you tried knitting or something? 

I know its tough convincing yourself otherwise, but life really is worth living.  Surely someone out there, that actually knows, you would agree.... Right?  All I'm saying is when nebraska and coach callahan reveal that their boasting of "restoring the order" was all a fraud.  Please don't do the unthinkable.  There's actually a support hot line you can call if you are feeling like ending it all when the fraud is revealed.  I'll have to ask my past nebraska co-worker, but I think its 1-800-NUcHOKE.  They have trained professionals there that can assist you in coming to reality that the mighty huskers have fallen, and will never again regain their death grip on the world of NCAA football.  If you cannot simply come to grips with reality, one trick that jayhawk fans have been using for years is fulfilling their fantasy season with life simulations where you control the destiny of your "beloved" huskers.  You can purchase this simulator on eBay and the price will vary.  It's known to many as NCAA football 2007.  Updates are released each year and this simulator can be played on either a playstation 2 or an Xbox.  I'm told that if the simulation doesn't seem lifelike enough, you can upgrade to an Xbox 360 or a playstation 3 for more lifelike renderings.  My only warning to you for this is it tends to worsen the delusions of grandeur and many people that you speak to will only believe that the situation is getting worse and medical help may be needed.

I'd like to say we're here for you, but honestly, I'm beginning to stop caring about you.  But you knew that would happen; you seem to have that effect on people.  Good luck FWIW.
