Your game is on a network that roughly 14% of the country gets....and of those, just a small fraction will be interested enough to watch the game....on a Thursday night.

and comparing that to the number of people who will watch a New Years Day game on a major network? That's just funny.

Yeah . . . a bowl game that Fox will send their G team too, Pat Summerall, who will stammer and stutter over everything and forget the team  names, the players name over and over again, causing any casual fan to quickly turn away to the either the Rose Bowl parade or flip back to the Outback Bowl which demographically blows the Cotton Bowl out of the water.  Then think about the fact that the game kicks off at 9 am MST, and 8 am PST on New Years Day.

Then you've got the Gator and Capital One Bowl that kick off at Noon CST . . . yep, good luck in that mix corn.

Whiny prima donnas that want to start immediately don't fit in well here at NU. That's especially true when you have the Conference Player of the Year playing the position. If you want to start as a freshman, you have to go to a really crappy team, that has virtually no talent at the position. Which is how Freeman ended up with you shmucks.

Have you ever stopped to consider how dangerous NU will be as we start getting upperclassmen who were actually recruited to play in this system onto the field?

Taylor is a great guy...tough, gritty, pretty good arm, smart. Keller is a stud QB though. He's a prototypical NFL QB, and Gil Brandt listed him at the beginning of the year as one of his top 5 NFL prospects at QB. He has a cannon arm, can make all the throws, and has faced top level competition like LSU and USC and played well.

As much as I like Taylor, Keller gives us a far better chance to win against top competition.

The O-Line will be better, all of the RBs/WRs will be back, and the defense is being upgraded as we speak...it's going to be a return to glory for Nebraska next year, and a tough year for you guys in the cellar of the Big 12.

He is a player at the quarterback position who shows the talent to play at the highest level of pro ball
He has good size for the position, who stands strong in the pocket, and seems to possess the leadership qualities needed from behind center
He has a live arm with good zip and velocity to his passes, who shows good placement and touch on his passes, which aid his receivers in gaining more yards after catch (YAC), since they don't have to break stride and can make plays on the move
He is also willing to stand tall in the pocket and take oncoming defenders hits to complete passes down field, and that type of toughness many times goes unnoticed to many scouts and persons viewing players
Though he has an unorthodox push of the ball in his throwing motion that makes me somewhat leery of his delivery time of the ball, and giving defenders opportunities to time and jump his passes
However, I will need more game evaluation on this player since I have had limited time watching his game, and would like to provide a more detailed analysis of his game

Keller is going to be an amazing QB for us, and make the offense even more dangerous.
