Any ideas?
I don't have a good one in Manhattan, but I know of a great one else where. Reliant Stadium, Dec. 28. Be there.

I apologize if there is a reason that you are unable to go. I understand that Houston is a pretty long drive from Hat-Town and it would be fairly expensive..

I'm poor as crap, (full time student, living in johnson county, paying for school out of pocket while working an intern like job) and I can't really afford it, but I'm going anyways.

Do what we're doing.  The tickets are the most expensive part of our bowl expenses.

Get a group of like 12 other poor college kids.(Of course make sure women are going, enough for a good time for the guys, but NOT enough to make it a bitching fest.)  Rent an RV (or trailer with a truck to pull it.)  Split the cost.  (Not too expensive, only like $30 a person for us.)

What to bring: Lots of extra pillows and blankets(people will be sleeping on the floor of the RV,) do some hardcore grocery shopping(tailgating food included), bring the movies, video games, TV(obviously,) cards, and most importantly alcohol.(Careful with this one on the road though.)

We're spending a hell of a less, and although we're going to be CRAMMED into this thing (only sleeps like 6 in three beds, but we have floors and chairs, plus we can fit three into some of these beds :hope:) but I bet we have more fun than the vast majority of people making this bowl trip.  Crammed road trips with buddies for teh win.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Maybe you could just answer the damn question or tell someone you don't have an answer.

Didn't we spend last night showing you how to order the friggin' NFL Network?

Apparently you have the internet, you could have done the research yourself but you relied on everyone else to help you.
You're doing the same thing tonight, and you don't like the answer you're getting.

You got a choice, you could pick up the phucking phone book and make some phone calls yourself.

I would imagine nearly all the sports bars will have it in town.  Pretty sure all of them have Direct TV or Cox Digital with the sports tier.

On the Plaza the grand fallon, but it's rather uppity.

Paddy O'quigly's on 119th and Roe.

Austins' in Olathe 151st and Murlen (but this is a huge ku homer bar).

rusty's on 75th pflum.

Any of those places are good to watch games

Lucky's on Johnson drive just east of I-35 will have a watch party

I go to Johnny's @ 135th & Neiman a lot.  But, like Austins, it's a big ku place.  Paddy O's sounds good to me.

Forgot about the 810 zone, which is a great place and will have tons of KSU fans.  They've got TV's everywhere.  Could be crowded though.

The Other place at 135th and just east of MUrlen in Olathe usually have nice KSU crowds as well.

810 Zone is a bit pricey, and the food isn't that good.  I'm not a big fan of the place.

True but you won't have to worry about not seeing the game or having a hard time seeing it with all of the tv's they've got.
