needs work over the next month.

This is not a favorable matchup...hopefully, Raheem and the mob will come up with a good scheme.

Yes, and we had a run-defense that matched up...you could say it was our strength...it is currently not.

The Tampa 2 in general doesn't match up well with a lot of college (or even pro for that matter) run schemes.  We could be in trouble.

I think Rutgers runs for 1,008 yards against us.  Or we could pull our own version of Purdue in '98.

Getting Watts and Williams back to hopefully around 100% will help a bunch.  Plus several practices to work on tackling which seemed to get worse as the season went along.

The other thing I like is that Rutgers presents no QB run game threat.  That should help as well.

Plus Rutgers doesn't present a real effective passing game.  They are a ball control team (leading reciever in catches is their FB) that puts most of the load on Rice (38% of their total yards, 71% of their rushing yards).

That's a bad thing for a team who's defense can't stop the run.
KSU is ranked 70th in in the nation in Rushing Defense (143.4 ypg).
Our defense has given up over a hundred yards rushing in our last 7 games, and in 8 of the last 9 games.  In those games we gave up over 200 three times (Louisville 228, Colorado 225, ku 247).

Ray Rice averaged  135 ypg this season (4th) running for 1625 yards.

We made Cornish the Big XII's Offensive POW against us (we gave up 247 rush yards vs ku), and he's Canadian, we might just secure the Heisman for Rice.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

moran, williams and watts all need to be 100%, and it would also be nice if josh moore is back and healthy.

here's a not so enjoyable tidbit.  navy rushed for 271 (56 carries, 2 tds) yards against notre dame.

they only got 113 yards on 50 carries (no tds) against rutgers.
