It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Obviously, Mangino will use the bye week to install some of the game plan for the 11/24 mizzou game.

Bye Weeks before KSU, 9 of the top 20 largest crowds ever at ku were against KSU (MU game only sold out once in last 20 years) . . . but KSU is "Not our rival".

Mangino's original contract called for an extra $5000 if he beat KSU or Nebraska.

No extra $ incentive to beat Missouri, however.

I didn't know there was a South Eastern Louisiana.

Mangino knows that beating KSU has become much more important than beating MU.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
I'm sure Prince and the boys will be glad to face a well-rested 1-3 Jayhawk team next year.

You gotta be craptin' me with the bye week again.

That schedule would make Snyder proud.

Doesn't anyone else realize that by Mangino saying that KSU - ku aren't rivals in football he's actually slapping his own program in the face and accepting the mediocrity that his delusional fanbase has already bought into?

Basically he's saying that his team is on par with another mediocre program, MU, and accepting the 64-0 fact of life that is his program.

WE AREN'T THEIR RIVAL!
