my brother went to school here during the time MM was coaching at KSU and he had a buddy that worked at a pizza shop in the 'ville and said he would come down every single thursday and order two large pepperoni pies and flip one over on top of the other and eat it like a sandwhich. every thursday no matter the time of year.

Screw the athletic department, ku has a med school.  They could get that &@#%er on enough speed that his feet would never hit the ground, he'd be Kate Moss skinny in a year.   Well, that or dead but he probably doesn't have long to go anyway so he might as well go out in style.

Mangino had trouble passing his coaching tests that the NCAA requires every coach to take regarding rules and such. He would fail it two or three times before passing it each year. All you have to do is memorize crap to pass it but he wasn't able to do that...

in all seriousness, I was told by a player from the Glen Mason-era that he has to shower after taking a dump.  he has a shower in the office and his secretary hears it going several times a day.

the roommates and i were talking and they went to HS with a kid that fatgino was after and they said just to be nice and also safe that when he came to visit the kid in the weight room before he showed they toke the middle post out of the double doors.

WOW this same thing happened at my former high school with Tyler Lawrence.  They removed the middle post from all double doors between the counselors office and the locker rooms/athletics offices.

I'm sure ku fans think this helps with recruiting.  "See how much they respect Mangino?"

Mhmm, enough to modify the building so that his fat ass can squeeze through the double doors.  Seriously, I would love to see the doorways in his house.  They've gotta be at least five feet wide.

Nope, never heard of him.  Then again, I only knew about half the people in my class and less than that in the classes older/younger than me.  There were over 2000 students when I went there.  It's probably still about the same.  The only reason I knew Tyler is because he was also in track during the off season.
