A.  I would have slit my wrists had I had to live in Lawrence in college.  NOTHING is within walking distance and parking sucks horribly.

B.  The stadium is an overgrown highschool stadium.

C.  Whoever decided to build BSFS either needs a serious raise or if they are dead, needs to have a building or street named after them.  My fiance's cousins said "yeah we're going to this tailgate with 8 kegs".  I thought that sounded cool but the tailgate was a freeking house!  There is no tailgaiting, just crowded ass house parties.

Let's all quietly thank god that we have the setup for football that we have.

Yeah, because Manhattan is so much better...I mean what with the stoplight and your indoor toilets, you're really living.

Who the hell would want to live in Manhattan?

    The very best.
Their stadium is an embarrassment.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Where to start with this moron.....Creighton's not the name of a town idiot...it's the name of a college in Omaha, NE.

Stupid is more like it....but silly will do.

What's truly amusing is someone from Manhattan criticizing the lack of culture or activities ANYWHERE else.

Honestly I'm gonna miss you Mark!!
Yup my first trip also...wasn't as bad as i thought it might be but, lack of tailgating was sad...i noticed all house/apt parties myself no real tailgate setup.

Tried to go to the "bars". i missed the 'ville after the first 10 mins i was there.. they really need a bar distric.

Fans could have been worse but still got your normal go homes, purple p*$$ies, etc. had a ku fan tell my brother that our coach was fat???

i plan to be there next time but not really got it marked on my calande

No, in fact I believe there is a small town in Nebraska named Creighton....that's just not where the school is located.

If there is a city in nebraska called creighton then it most certainly must contain the college called creighton if there really is such a place.

link.

Actually, Creighton University is in Omaha, where tfree32 is located (the same guy that now sports the final score of the Nubb/Creighton game as his name)

There is a Creighton Nebraska, but it's just a farming community.

If you had to live in lawrence in college you probably wouldn't know what a football was so that joke of a stadium and the lack of tailgating wouldn't phase you a bit.

You don't know what you're missing out on.  KSU fans live and die to tailgate with the sheep across from tBSFS.  I personally enjoy KSU for the random farm equipment that appears on campus during open house.  Nothing screams come to Manhattan like a combine across the street from the international student center.

I'm not convinced.

I know the history of creighton.  Do you?

Why would I want to know or care?

I just googled what I knew and gave you the link.

As far as understanding the relative importance of either the school or town.. it's irrelevant, immaterial, and inane.

Let me guess.. you wear pleated pants, button down shirts, and attend all the gay parades in some some big city and spend time in a gym that it is little more than symbolic because your real interest is going into the mens shower?

How close did I get with that?
