Kerry Meier was coming off a game in which he threw for 3TD's and 250+ passing yards in a moral victory vs. Texas A&M the week previous...

and the entire week...KM tooks snaps with the #1 offense and was expected to start..

Then, about 15 minutes before kickoff......KM decides he can't play and Barmann goes jogging out with ku's offense.

geeezzuuus..

Gawd damn Allen Webb cost us a shot at that game and it ruined our streak. Granted, our pathetic tackling and Bobby Elliot's four deep zone didn't help anything but damn if we didn't blow that one.

I blame Meier more for that loss considering he prepaired to play all week while Webb didn't get the snaps that a starter should.   If he can practice all week through pain, why can't he atleast play one game through pain; atleast take the field for the first series and see what goes down.
