By double digits.  "Anytime you give Mangino two weeks to prepare for a rival in Lawrence..."

Mangino = coaching genius.   :confused:

Someone should tell him that Mangino has only won 1 ball game after a bye week.

ku's win over Nebraska last year was supposedly the one that started the bye week "trend".

Once in five years is a trend?

Jack Harry said we'd lose our last four. He's a dolt.

This coming from a guy who badgered Coach Snyder at one of his press conferences about an "NCAA Violation" that, oops!, just so happened to be oked and in his contract.  :bootyshake:

God I hate being the stats nerd... But That nebraska game wasn't after a Bye week.  Their sole post bye week victory came with a 24-21 victory 11/26/2005 vs. ISU.  That was the win that made them bowl eligable... but I'm sure everyone remembers that the ISU tripped over their dicks for the better cause of ku football.

Jack also says he'd rather have Mangino as his coach than Pinkel.  Granted, I'd choose neither, but I'd take Pinkel over Mangino.  Mangino has owned the head to head battle, but its hard to say Mangino has done more than Pinkel to this point overall IMO.

Atleast with Mangino, your asst. coaches could give the "win this one for the gipper" speach as Mangino lay on his clogged artery death bed.

Jack is no doubt just comparing Mangino's coaching abilities to those of his beloved Univ of Missouri.  Sure, Pinkel is going to get out-coached by just about everyone (geez, he was out-coached by Cornahan this year even).  Jack is just a KSU-hater.  Just jealous that MU finally has the chance to have a very good season and they still won't finish better than us in the conference during our rebuilding year.
