"I thought, 'Wow, we had an opportunity to beat Texas here and let it slip through our hands,"' Mangino said of ku's 27-23 loss. "They didn't. Good for them. We'll be looking forward to playing them."

Then he paused and added, "But there was a guy missing."

Freeman Johns, the side judge whose controversial call two years ago was key in allowing Texas to escape with a victory over ku?

" Vince Young," replied Mangino. "They were a guy short."

I can't believe he said that. They have a g-damn loser as a coach.

Let's kick their f-ing ass.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You guys do realize that if he was our Coach last Saturday we would have blown that game, right?

He knows that too.

So if KSU beats ku on Saturday, does Fatso blame it on the fact that ku was a man short by not having Gale Sayers or John Riggins in the backfield?  Hell, while Mangino was at it, he should have noted that UT didn't have Earl Campbell either.

Yeah, or Ricky Williams...oh wait, we kicked his a$$ previously.  So, Mangie is saying that they would've beaten Texas too since they don't have Vince Young now.  I guess that's true.  Poor Texas, pretty much everyone is just stomping on them now that Vince is gone.

I think he's sandbagging and sidestepping because he knows he has no idea how to gameplan for us. He knows what's coming and is powerless to stop it.

After this weekend's game, I hope that Prince mentions that our win over ku was nice, but the 'hawks were "a coach short."
