It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

He better play.

Did anyone see when he got hurt?  They said it was a neck injury.  Hopefully a pinched nerve in the cold.

Neck injury?

Here's all the motivation Figurs needs:

I loved Figurs performance this last week, and he finally showed his potential, but don't forget about the other 10 games this season.

He had been nonexistent as a WR, like everyone else.

I hope he plays, but it won't be a huge loss, hopefully Jordy will be the 'hot' receiver this week. We only have one per game anyway.

Part of Figurs' game was that he has some speed and is a deep threat.  However, I don't know how much that helps us vs ku b/c I don't think they'll play man like UT did.  I would've rather had him healthy though.

I just want him for punt returns.

Jordy looks silly out there.

Jordy's just out there to catch the ball.

Don't worry, we've always got McKinney to return punts.

..Oh wait.

Damnit.

Has Patton done any punt returning this year?  Or only kickoffs?

Patton's been back on kickoffs I think.

"jordy is just there to catch the ball"

That is exactly why we are going to miss figures so much.  If they put Jordy back there, all ku has to do is get the kick off, and not have to worry about returns.

Maybe Jordy can catch it and handoff to Patton.

I like it

Bold and Daring as well as getting it into the hands of a playmaker.

Your comment reminds me of the collection of punts muffed by Sproles.

I believe YF was hurt on that kick return that was muffed and rolled into the endzone.  He was kind of just standing there watching McKinney land on the ball with his back kind of turned. He turn around just in time to see a ut guy came in and take a helmet to helmet shot on him.  He got up and trotted off the field but never returned.  That was our next drive after ut cut the lead to 14 when Meier came in.  So we had neither Freeman nor Figurs on that drive.

Wilson, Gonzalez, Mastrud, Norwood, Nelson, Patton, and JJohnson...

There is no reason why Freeman should not be able to complete passes with Figurs out.

Just be sure the muff knows it's you and doesn't think you're someone else.
