was that extra lighting I saw??

It looked like some really bright lights coming out of where the TV broadcast crew normally sits in the pressbox.

    The very best.
Yes, they set up two of them.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

HD TV requires more lighting because of the way the HD camera's work.

It looked as though it had an effect on our game jerseys.  I swear they looked more royal or deeper purple than I've seen before.

That makes sense.

I just looked at my recording, they had the extra lights on the East side in one shot as well.

They had extra lights on top of the press box (where Willie sometimes goes to do the KSU Chant) and a temporary mast on the east side. It was actually nice to have for the east concourse.

The light on the east side was illuminating the "BILL SNYDER FAMILY STADIUM" text on the side of the upper deck.

Too bad the lights were on the press box.  That was an ideal game for Willie on the press box. ISU or OSU or whichever was not.  Save that for super special occasions (like '00 nu in the snow)

That was just the Bob Huggins purple suit effect.   :ksu:
