Kansas State and Nebraska both won but both looked terrible.  Should be a close game in a couple of weeks.  The team that is best prepared will win.

This is an honest question, did not catch the cat game today, only heard the outcome of a last minute score to win.  Did the cats sleep all day or are there some real issues?  I know there are not many issues with the Big Red,  we played a 3.5 hour nap session tonight, tho some can say it almost bit us in the ass, the game was never in question.  I'm just curious if Ksu's game today was the same kind of situation.

K-State played terrible with 43 yards of offense in the first half. Our QB may have had the worst performance since Ell Roberson's first half in Lincoln his freshman year. Something clicked in the 4th qtr and we sneaked away with a win. I had simply accepted the fact that we were going to lose until about midway through the 4th.

The team was slow, unemotional and weak. This was not the same team from the past 3 weeks, but on the other hand there are some "real issues".
So, somehow, because you logged onto a message board, and read a quote that another guy wrote about Wefald, Wefald is "in your face?"  I'll go along with that.  I wish Hemmingway would get off my nuts.

We have some issues but UCF's defense is ranked #15 nationally. It was us and the competition was better than most people would want to think. UCF has lost 2 games when they had the chance to win, ksu and NCST. Good win and a great game before big 12 play.

I agree 100%.....good quality win, ucf is a quality opponent. They might have beaten NC state had the freshman started. There were things we need to correct and fix but I'll take a ugly win against a quality opponent any day of the week....even on a Thursday

Watching the game UCF planned to take away DT and it worked well until the 4 quarter. Coffman was really struggling to hit open receivers. Once he got into rhythm in the 4th he did pretty well.

Watching UCF try to score was like watching that commercial with the grounds keeper and the sprinkler system. They looked to be the better team but the football gods were pissed at them.

UCF is definitely the best team K-State has faced this year.

i think that K-State was just ment to win the game saturday considering all the bad things that happened for UCF. two some-what easy missed field goals. and where there player should of scored down the sidelines but pulled something in his leg and fell.

I believe this was a perfect game for KSU going into the Nebraska game in a little over a week. We have the momentum of beating a pretty darn good team. We struggled most of the game. Players should work hard in the up coming days. The extra time between games give Snyder time to put in some special plays. All in all, I'm looking forward to this game. I think we have a chance to win. :kstatriot: :steadymobbin':
