and KSU spoiled it last night.

consecutive regular season Big 12 conference wins.

Yes, KSU won 21 straight regular season Big 12 conference wins between Oct. 11, 1997 thru Nov. 6, 1999.  Texas had won 20 straight dating back to Oct. 16, 2004.

Texas' regular season Big 12 conference winning streak ends at 20.

1) KSU - 21
2) UT - 20
3) OU & NU - 17

They got 21 if you include the 2005 Big XII Championship.

Its pretty amazing that we have had 4 teams go on runs like that in just the short span of the big 12.  With all these teams having bright futures too, we should ahve a pretty damn good Big 12 for next few years.

10-2 next year, undefeated in Big XII North. Losses to L'ville and OU. That is my prediction.

Yup. Who would have thought we would be the ones to keep the glory for the late 90's KSU teams?

Awesome.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

To bad we don't play L'ville next year.  You're thinking 2008. @ Fresno is on the schedule for next year though.
