Be interested to see if he continues to put up big numbers a site like Sproles had for Heisman.
So, somehow, because you logged onto a message board, and read a quote that another guy wrote about Wefald, Wefald is "in your face?"  I'll go along with that.  I wish Hemmingway would get off my nuts.

Well, ABC plugged him for the Heisman a couple of times during the UCLA telecast. Stellar back-to-back Thursday night performances could lend it some credit. But it is going to take some major wins for a winner's ticket to New York. And there is a certain probability of those wins happening. If Coffman can keep from turning the ball over, the offense will be fine... Maybe the those wins will happen.

Who do you think "those wins" will come against? After UCLA's performance on Saturday and our Defense giving up huge chunks of yards to MoStat, it's hard for me to say we will do better than 6-6. Heisman winners don't come from 6-6 teams no matter how good they are.

Hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Pointless convo, we could win the Big 12 and and he wouldn't be a top 1/2 for Heisman.  Guys great, hes going to be on everyones short list if we win 8+ games, but without preseason top 5 Heisman hype and without a team getting national attention, its pointless to talk about.

I agree Sproles barely got any attention at the end of the 2003 season and he was puting up HUGE numbers all year. Then we win the Big 12 against the "Best Team in History" and still barely gets a vote.
