UCLA bans Mike Harris for opener
http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/ncf/news/story?id=5450669
UCLA junior offensive lineman Mike Harris has been suspended for the season opener against Kansas State for a violation of team rules, coach Rick Neuheisel said Monday.
Harris, a 6-foot-5, 319-pound tackle, started all 13 games for the Bruins last season and shared the team's offensive most improved player award.
"It's important that he understand why we have rules and that there are consequences to everyone's actions," said Neuheisel, who did not elaborate on the violation.
