Just heard on the local radio that the Oregon series has been replaced with one with Eastern Kentucky. Is that true?

Snyder's view on precon play has always been to play puffs and it has for the most part worked in the past. I view it as trying to wipe away another aspect of Prince. I can see both aspects do we want a flashy win against a top 25 school on prime time but run a very big risk looking like a punching bag or do we want to get our offense and defense together and hopefully pick up some wins b4 the gauntlet that is the big 12 to be closer to bowl eligibility. Either way Snyds is back in the drivers seat and Snyder gets what Snyder wants and there is nothing the matter with that at all. Bowl games make the world go round and its two different approaches on how to get there.

the scheduling philosophy can go 'round and 'round, but there's very little incentive for KSU to play anything but puffs in the non-con.  Get your wins, get tuned up, avoid injuries and then go at it in the conference.

But from a fan perspective it would be nice to have at least ONE meaningful OOC game once in a while.  I mean, what would a loss to Oregon do to us?  It wouldn't hurt us any.  It also would be a nice gesture to the fans who have put up with crap scheduling and very poor athletic department decisions over the years.  I would love a roadie to Oregon.

Yep, that's the other side of the circle that we go round

I was at that game.  We should have won.  Very questionable officiating favored the hometeam..

I was at that game too.  That game had second worst Ron Prince call ever (the worst call was when he called time out on the last play of the last ISU game to set up the defense, then gave up a TD anyway).  That was when we had Auburn backed up with a 4th and 25, so Ron goes "bold and daring" and goes for the punt block, and we get a roughing the kicker penalty.  Thats the moment when 1/2 people in the KSU section turned on Prince.  Stupid crap like that is why we lost the game.
