Welcome to 3 10-yard passes at the tight ends feet per game.  I can't wait to be in the stadium watching a qb go 2 for 7 in the first quarter for 9 yards.  Awesome.

I forgot the SLamur option.  That's the one where we get Webb 2.0, meaning he goes 13 for 24, but its for only 64 yards because he's too scared to throw it more that 5 yards.

...or knows where the hell his receivers are when they go past 5 yards because he can't remember the plays.  If he is as good as they say he is he would have been able to beat Coffman and Gregory with only 6 plays.  Snyder's not afraid of that ala 2004 when 2/3s of our plays were Sproles right or Sproles left (even when he only had 40-50 yards every other game).

I like having the options.  I think the qb's we have right now give us a lot of different possibilities.  I know Bill has never really used the 2 qb sysetem but I think we could see a good mix of option and some true passing.  It would be nice to get the ball in Harper's hands for some end arounds etc.  DT in the backfield also should help and a good portion of our line returning.   :combofan:

Let me clarify one thing.  I'm not mad that Snyder is moving him to WR.  If Snyder thought he was the best option at QB, he'd be playing QB.  I'm just disappointed that he doesn't have the potential to be the QB.  I'm not playing the "what are they thinking" card.  If Snyder thinks our the others are better options, I trust that.  I've just seen this movie before, switching QBs all season between a guy who can't run the passing game but is an option to run (Webb) and someone who knows the offense, but doesn't have the arm strength (Meier - but I give the guy credit, his was due to injuries and he tried to play through it).

If Harper isn't the QB solution I'm glad we moved him to where he will help the team (not struggling at the position he wants to be at - Lamark).  I'm also glad it kills the hype now instead of everyone calling him a disappointment by week 7.

Can't believe so many thought he was going to be an effective QB here after he washed out at Oregon.  The Duck's staff has developed a long unbroken string of dual threat QB's, so you would think they know what they're doing.

What did you see watching games last year, that made you think we were going to throw the ball this year?  Get ready to lead the Big XII in rushing and finish dead last in passing again.

Last year was just that, last year.  The playbook is a lot bigger this year because snyder couldn't throw the whole thing at them in his first year back.  Now in saying that we will play to our players strengths so if its lamur we will most likely run a lot but if its coffman we'll be throwing the ball.  I think Klein can be an upgrade over gregory.

I play with Oregon's program in our Phog.net NCAA '10 Dynasty, and Harper was a stud for me at QB.  Not sure why he couldn't be just as effective as Michael Bishop was for Snyder at K-State.

Are you on drugs?  Or are you under 16 and never saw Bishop play?
