Still the #2 seed in the South playing #15 UC Santa Barbara in Oklahoma City. This time the winner gets the winner of #7 Gonzaga vs. #10 Marquette. Gonzaga fell because they didn't win their conference tournament. I don't know if that's good or bad for us. #1 Syracuse and #3 New Mexico are also in the region.

Just hope to God that K-State doesn't draw Cornell in that 2nd round.  They are not a team you want to play in the NCAA tournament.

I wouldn't.  We're talking about an experienced team that hits lots of three's, doesn't turn the ball over, plays tough-nosed defense, and hits their free throws.  That's a recipe for an early upset in the NCAA tournament.  Gonzaga and Marquette would be much better matchups for a team like K-State.

That 6-22 Penn Quaker team seemed to handle them pretty well by 15 points.  JFC, Cornell isn't awful, but quit trying to puff them up like some phenomenal team just because they played with you at home.  You have a good team, you've won a lot of games, you don't need to over-validate Cornell for the other two things to be true.

Still the same except that one of the possible 2nd Round opponents is ODU. Marquette is now a #9 seed.

He switched it back to the old way with Marquette as a possible 2nd Round opponent now.

K-State is a lock for a 2-seed after that big win last night over Okie State.  That's huge, because the first round matchup for the 1/2 seeds is almost a guaranteed win.
