This is the time of year where the good teams rise up - the leaders on the team focus the roles players; the veterans temper the young players.

Where is the offense for the Cats?  They struggled against MU (12 minutes and no FGs) but you could chalk that up to MU's style of play.  For the most part, K-State looked lost against ku (a good, athletic defense).  Against ISU (what excuses are we using for this one)?

K-State is not trending up for this time of year.  They look sluggish and tired.  They get frustrated easily on the court, which starts at the top with Clemente.  As a team, they continue to make bad decisions and take poor shots; they do not have a sense of the game's momentum, court awareness, and a lack of ball handling ability.
In short, this team has overachieved this season.  It peaked against Texas Tech and has been wearing down since.  This is going to be a short post season.

personal note: felt like a good time for a meltdown.

Even more proof we don't have a balanced offense.

Let's keep shooting threes!

The team had done better of late not overshooting 3s when they weren't falling.  Not tonight.  At least the FTs were making it in (except for Samuels), otherwise this would have been even uglier.

Not liking the OSU rematch possibility either; or facing Baylor should we win in round 2.  BU could lose to Texas (the 'Horns have to be looking for payback have getting mauled today), but the Bears are rolling right now.

It was a story this week because Martin finally played the freshmen; but, is it any wonder the vets are tired with the frosh playing so little?

Season is effectively over, some just don't want to believe it.

2nd round, maybe.  Absolutely getting dominated on the coaching front.

I don't agree with any of this. This is now a two tournament season. I look for them to be reinvigorated.

samuels FT's could have tied, and gave us momentum...both times. frack him.

i believe frank played the froshs' because the lack of caring on the vets part. they must have been tired from dicking around in practice all week not taking this seriously. frack them.
