Like maybe one or two of you that post here, I was alive and a fan in the 80's and I remember very fondly, growing up in McPherson Co., how wonderful the rivalry was.  That went away for 22 years.  Now it's back - - albeit for only a year.  I want to be the first to tell you folks how impressed I am with Frank's team.  It really breaks my heart, as a ku fan, that he will not be sticking around this league next year.  He, as it turned out, was a great asset.

Believe me if you will, but I have it on good authority (from central KS and one of your biggest donors is my uncle), that kstate is not willing to pay ol' frankenstein what he's worth.  Negotiations have stalled and Frank is looking for a deep run in order to get paid next year.  Don't get me wrong, UCLA is not calling Frank.  Others are.  Word through the donors is that Frank will not sign any contract extension because he has no desire to work for the new AD.  Also, according to my uncle, Frank has been in touch with the Big East (via Bob Huggins) and will be landing a job just as soon as the season wraps up.  Of course it's a package deal with Delonte'.  He's gone too.

Not sure why Frank wants to leave a place where a bunch of drunk morons are willing to suck him off, but I think the AD has a huge role in this.  Your AD hate's Frank.  Bummer for you.

Good luck on Wednesday;  you're &@#%ed.

HCIW Dalonte Hill?

No.  He is anxious to get back to the East Coast, per my uncle.  Nobody likes Kansas - - particularly Manhattan.

I didn't believe this until I read it again.  If there is one single segment of our fan base with their finger on the pulse of KSU athletics it is donors in central KS.  Those are the same guys bitching about Beasley's form on his free throws while talking up MacKenzie Rosel.  Dialed in, that is all I can say.

I've lived all over the state of Kansas since graduating several years ago and let me say that nowhere in the state is there more disparity between K-State and uk fans than in central Kansas, particularly McPherson County where I now live. I'm dead serious- not just saying this to make us sound good or them sound bad. K-State fans are honest, hardworking people who look out for each other and treat people right. You can always tell the uk fans because they have the big houses and drive the nice cars but have no friends other than themselves. I know it is not this bad everywhere but on several different occasions I have known uk fans who cheat their way through life- stealing money, doing illegal deals, etc. to get to the top. I know this comes across as bitter but every year this rivalry goes straight to my core and I hate more than anything to see the joy those folks have gotten from beating our sub-par teams in the past. NOW IS OUR TIME. Let's show them what real folks are made of Wednesday night, during the Big XII tourney and the Big Dance.

EMAW!

Really?  Frank would abandon the awesome recruiting class he's assembled?  The drugs in Douglas Co are truly great.

Here is the deal... like all of you I want Frank Martin to be here for a long long time, but this dipcrap Curry is really trying his best to Frack the whole thing up. Pretend it doesn't exist, but this should have been resolved long ago. Now Frank just has more ammo to ask for whatever he wants. Curry should have had the damn forsight to get this done months ago, instead it will now be a real fight to keep Frank... yes I think he really feels a sense of love and loyality to us ,BUT not to the little dipcrap Curry. Moreover if a place like Miami or even say a place like Rutgers comes calling he is going to be very hard to keep.  He should have been locked up before this season got going. Now enjoy the ride because it may be coming to an abrupt halt! :alleyoop:

Relax, everyone.  For every ku fan who says they are in the loop with a top donor at KSU who says Frank is unhappy, there is another top donor to KSU who says there is nothing to worry about.  The fun part is that everyone at ku trashed Frank when he came, now that he has awoken the sleeping giant that is K-State BBall they want no part of him sharing the spot light with their beloved Jayhawks :ohno:.  Let them hope and pray Frank leaves but we know how much he loves it here and he will be here for a long while.  ADJC knows his job depends on him keeping Frank here and happy.  Enjoy the ride.

Why wouldn't we win? We're better. We beat you once already and it was in your Octagon of BS. We'll win by double digits.

QFT. For some reason, K State believes (despite the score) they won. You REALLY think you will win on Senior Night IN Lawrence? Even Pullen knows he ain't. Good luck, hopefully a good game. I know ku will win.

You're a liar, but your uncle's probably still a moron. Your fear is showing, jayhick. Try not to wet yourself in public. Maybe you'd better watch the game in private. :skillz:
