Huge playbook, couple guys said its over twice as big as last years, he's worried about the learning curve but he's glad he's here for spring ball. Expects to play on special teams this upcoming season full time. Said the guys are really focused and are working really hard in the weight room/running. I asked what the offense was looking like and he said lots of spread formations... Kinda worries me.

I didn't want to ask about individual personnel at this point in time, but hopefully its the next report. Also, this happened a few days ago, just got time to post it now.

Thanks for the info DOD.  Keep em coming. Try to find out about the new S&C coach and how the off season training program has changed under him.

Spread formations? Cosh might well be the guy, although I find it hard to believe Bill would start a true freshman at QB. The spring scrimmage might be very interesting this year.

spread everyone out and put athletic QB and DT in the backfield?  Try to dictate the defensive formation and how they cover?  But i seriously doubt they even use 1/2 of it.

Offense was never a problem under Snyder.

In retrospect, defense was never a problem either.
