Who guards Obi?

OSU is a weird team size wise.  Two midget guards, one  big man, and two guys that have length and can shoot from the perimeter get the lion's share of the minutes.

Anderson is clearly their best player, but it seems to me that the easiest way for us to lose this game is if they manage to come close to their season defensive rebounding numbers, the continue to not turn the ball over, and for Muonelo to go off.

I don't really think they can keep us off the offensive glass, but these "should win" games always make me

Jamar and Kelly both did a good job on defending Damion James on the perimeter and Obi is a homeless man's Damion James

If we can defend Texas (James/Hamilton), we better be able to defend OSU (Anderson/Obi).

Sutton on Anderson will be a marquee match-up. I'm looking forward to that one, definitely worth the price of admission in itself.

Not that I don't understand the importance of defense, but I think it'll be an afterthought in this game. We are going to score a ton of points against the 'Pokes. They really don't have anyone as fast as Denis or Jake to guard them, nor will the guys guarding those two have any size at all. So I expect a real big game out of Denis or Jake or both. Then if Jamar and Chris can do what they did against UT in the paint, we could score 90+ in this thing...assuming it doesn't become a FT shooting contest...but judging by the Big XII games this week, I think the powers that be told the officials to cool it with the whistles.

Hamilton got rattled by either the physicality or the crowd.  I think osu's veterans might handle that a little better.

Probably.  This is a game where a lot of that will depend on whether or not Pullen/Clemente/McGruds hit some shots.  I think we'll get some open looks.

I also think OSU is a team (at home anyway) that we should be able to just wear down with our physical style.  If we hit jump shots we'll blow them out, but we should win comfortably in the 'Gon regardless.  IMHO.
