LOL.  Seriously?  Your recruiting class is a joke.  Demarcus Robinson and Tre Walker are the only two prospects ku even took a sniff at.

And Adam Davis, and Matthew Pearson, and Laton Dowling. Check out the new recruiting rankings on rivals, BMW:

http://kansasstate.rivals.com/teamrank.asp?Year=2010&Page=3&PosType=0&Sort=0

KSU #56, ku #60.

Quote from:  Me, yesterday
Also, uk offered or at least recruited Davis, Dowling, Pearson, and Allred.

None of those guys were ever on ku's hot board.  I follow ku recruiting very closely obviously and the only player ku really wanted that committed to K-State is Robinson.  ku has taken a couple kicks in the nuts recently with the loss of guys like Grissom, Clark, and Bolton, but I look at ku's class and still see some good prospects.  ku still has some solid prospects coming in for recruiting visits, and when all is said and done I expect it to be ranked higher than K-State's.

Your delusion has reached an all time high.  Your class is going backwards at a rather quick pace.  You fired the most successful recruiter and coach the program has ever seen.  Your program is coming off another typical uk showing, finishing near the bottom of the league again.  Your YOD is long gone son.

K-State's class is over-inflated by juco recruits.  Unless a juco just totally sucks, he automatically gets three stars.  Keeston Terry is the highest ranked prospect in either class, and ku has much better high school talent.  Hate to break it to you guys.

D Rob is the #245 prospect in the nation.  Keeston is not ranked.  Your high school players average 2.8 stars, ours average 3 stars.  I guess you could try to make an argument that your players will be better than ours, but you're wrong like every time you say someone is going to be good.

Even though they came into the program last year, I like to think CH and BS as this year's recruiting class since they will be eligible to play.  That adds like new more 4* recruits right?

Anyways....Ben I feel sorry for you during these difficult recruiting times.  It's hard seeing recruits leave you for a new love.  Maybe they found out the new club seating wasn't going to be built so they left for a place with better facilities?

Can BMW get owned any more in this thread? Just give it up already. Your class is worse than ours. I guarantee that if our classes were switched, you would still be saying ku's class is better.

Take it easy, BMW is like Fragile Freddy Merman.  He is bound to run off and hide in a hole in Central Park.

Looks to me like Keeston is not in the top 250 and Robinson is so Keeston is not the highest rated kid in either class like BMW said.   Both are 4 stars and have the same grade.  None of this ranking crap really matters much anyway.  All I know is about the last 5 recruits ku has landed are just now receiving their first decent offer in the middle of January.  Several of them had no other offers at all even from mid majors.   KSU's class isn't great but they're not making reaches like ku is with the exception of Tate.

KSU now last place in recruiting in the Big 12 North...second year in a row.  Not usually a harbinger of future success.

Yeah the rankings lose all credibility with me for stuff like that.  This kid has no offers and hardly any attention until late January.  He's ranked like 20th in the state rankings behind a bunch of two star and unrated guys that ended up going to smaller schools.   Then ku steps in and offers him and suddenly he jumps up to a 5.6 three star. The ratings have turned into a joke a three star rating is now totally meaningless which means the rankings are totally meaningless for the 80% of the teams that are recruiting mainly 3 star kids.

It'd be cool if they went back to the 1 star

1 = we didn't think he was worth looking at, or were to lazy/no one was recruiting him...sorry, but since he has a d1 offer, here's a star
