He really does have an eye for when a free throw is going in.

Bend those knees, young man.

For having such an amazing evening inside Bramlage, that article pretty much made it sound like once the game ended, his night went to $hit.

If Bob was upset with our offense then I wonder what he thought about Texas's. :ohno:

Of course Knight is going to sound like a dick if you just skim through those comments. Knight sounds like a dick every time he opens his mouth, that's just Bob.

But in all semi-seriousness, I honestly got the feeling watching the tape of the game that Knight would have given anything to be coaching one of the teams on the floor that night. He hasn't seen raw athletic talent like that in his life. I doubt Knight goes around offering coaching advice to every douche nozzle he runs in to, so when I heard he waited around in the tunnel just to talk to Frank my first thought was that's pretty damn cool. Just shows you the kind of respect Frank and the team are earning. It sure ain't 1976 anymore, but I'm sure the guy still knows a little somethin' about basketball. But I digress

The Hypersensitive Frankites need to understand that for about 18 minutes of that game, K-State has no offense, and Knight is spot on in his constant harping that K-State needed to get better motion inside with its bigs . . . a few screens from one big on another big's defender would have been open all F'ing day.

Geez . . . some of you folks are starting to sound more and more like the Snyder defenders.

i do not know who would disagree with you. I get frustrated when denis is standing at half court dribbling while everyone is just standing around.

The motion would help us too....Cats are absolutely wearing people out with  defensive pressure and fast break.  Throw in some motion and bone-jarring screens on the offensive end....they're just gonna break people.

Face it, missed lay-ups aren't some anomaly; everyone is missin' 'em because the defensive poundin' the Cats are dishing out is taking its toll.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
I took more issue with him criticizing a 35% three point shooter making a wide-open 3 in the first half than anything he said in the 2nd.  But he's still an annoying retard.

At that moment Frank made a mental note to beat Bob's boy by 30 points.

There is only so much time to practice per week and clearly Frank spends much of it on defense and rebounding.  I'm sure plenty is on offense, but he's not going to throw out some motion offense.  To be kind, I'm sure Frank would listen out of respect to Knight, maybe even implement a wrinkle or two, but Frank has a system and it works just fine.

Just look at the offensive efficiency of his teams.  I mean we threw out Kent, Colon, and a young Jam-Sam in the paint last year and he still finished in the upper 1/5 of college basketball in offensive efficiency.  There is more to offensive basketball than offense.

Guys, when are we going to start the "good job" or well done chant that Knight insisted?

Coming from the Bob Knight, he must have been on anti-depressants or something...
With a comfortable lead? with 2:00 min left.

or

whenever it is absolutely apparent we have the game in hand.

i like the idea of a "thanks for trying, clap clap clapclapclap" chant at the end of a game. pretty facetious stuff. i bet it'd burn real bad.

LOL. Bob Knight trying to preach sportsmanship is like Snoop Dogg preaching to little kids to not smoke pot.

I'm guessing Knight is at the bottom of Tuttle right now.

How unprofessional.  Knight needs to STFU.  What an ego.  I hope Frank doesn't call him back and feed his ego any more than it is.

Yeah, Frank shouldn't take advice from a guy who has won 900 plus games. jfc :flush:

qft(this);

Our offense looks like a prison shower most of the time. No doubt it could use some massaging. And Bob Knight might have some good pointers. Too bad he's such an ass about everything always.

knight will never understand the beauty of pounding it inside, drawing fouls, and getting putbacks.  if its not a wide open 15 ft jumpshot after 6 passes, its not basketball to him.  game passed him by 25 yrs ago.

QFT, good post.

I'll take put backs any day over that crap that gets you a 1 and done opportunity to score.
Show me defense.

I didn't have too much of a problem with the lack of rotation down low.  Basically gave the guards the option of either Kelly or Jamar on isolation plays.  If you are trying to avoid Damion James or Dexter Pittman matchups, this was the correct strategy.
