You can't be racist and like basketball.
Am I missing something, or did we only make 2 all game?  Lu's rainbow, and Jamar's 3.

Crazy get-to-the-rimmingness.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
noticed this as well. Lots of points off transitions or Off. rebounds.
I walk out of that tunnel in this building and the passion of our fans, just gets me going. I mean just gives me an adrenaline rush that you guys just don't understand. - Frank Martin

That sounds about right.  Clem had a runner or two.  Amazing attack the rim game by the Cats.

like the wisky game.

:(
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

The game was ridiculous.  I mean, I’ve never seen a team score probably 60+ points on nothing but scraps.  Samuels had a 3, Denis had 1 floater and two (I think) lay ups, and Luis had a 12 footer that had more air under it than any 12 footer should have.  That’s it.  The rest was mainly Samuels and Kelly around the rim.  we f'ing punked them.  it was beautiful.

Just think if we had hit some of the open looks we got.  Pullen, Clemente, and McGruder all had some really good shots that they usually make.  Plus, the bump on the drive was not going to be called last night for Denis or Jake most of the time.

We could've easily won this one by 20+, even if James made a few more lay-ups.

Huggs' teams at Cincy were always like this. Best offense was usually getting the ball of the glass. That's why I was upset with my dude Ryan Greene in Vegas when he was sort of dismissive of the beatdown the Cats put on UNLV because, as he said, they made so many 3s. The truth is, if they're making shots, that's just a bonus. If they're making shots, they'll blow people out.

I knew they'd be good, and I'm not convinced Texas is as good as everyone seems to think, but K-State is a legit Top 10 team. As in, are there nine other teams better than the Cats? Doubtful. Are there five? Possibly, but I doubt it.

And I still think Rick Barnes is suspect as a coach, by the way.

Yeah, it was apparent early that they weren’t going to get that bump (though Jake worked the official after he got his 3rd foul on a bumped jump shot and got the call on the other end on what I thought wasn’t a foul on Texas).  And because of that I think Denis missed some opportunities or was hesitant to drive in the second half, even when he had a couple of opportunities when his defender was on his heels and everyone else was had their backs to the top of the court.  It was basically the game we’ve been waiting for out of our bigs.  They all pretty much provided something to the game without really too many negative plays.  Jamar and Kelly were ridic on both ends.

Ryan Greene had a Tejas sized meltdown for the entirety of the game.  It was blatantly obvious he was against EMAW and it was killing him.  Ryan Greene is a douche.  Ryan Greene is on the "bad list". I know SD keeps one somewhere.

Just checked KStateSports stat thing:

3:02 1st Half (22-36) - Clemente, Denis Assist 3Ptr. Samuels, Jamar Good 3Ptr

In addition to that 3pointer, at that point in time we had 11 layups in the paint, 4 jumpers in the paint, and 3 made FT's.

11:51 2nd Half (44-45) - Irving, Martavious Assist Jumper. Colon, Luis Good Jumper.

At that point in time we had 1 3PT, 1 2PT(Colon's), 12 layups in paint, 5 jumpers in paint, and 6 made FT's.

To end the game we had 1 3PT, 1 2PT, 17 layups (12 true, 2 dunks, 1 tip-in), 6 jumpers in paint, 20 made FT's

Damion James postgame said that we" didn't do anything special". Damion, sorry to break this to you, but if we did do something special, like make a bunch of 3s, then we blow you off the court by 20+. We didn't do anything special, and still won by 9.
