"Keep in mind that Martin was basically just an AAU Coach a little over 3 years ago. Huggins brought him on board at K State to get Michael Beasley. Then Huggins jumped ship and K State gave the HC job to Martin to keep Beasley. So this is only his 3rd year as a College Coach. I think he's extremely intense because he's never had a top 10 team and is stressing about winning and losing. I do have to give the man credit. I figured that after Beasley left that K-State would fall like a rock and Martin would be gone. But he's recruited well and got K-State playing very well. I think as he gets more comfortable that he isn't getting fired, he'll start to unwind a little and take it down a notch."
