Was fantastic.  Unbelievable defense.  No cheap fouls.  Bring on Cole.

Colon took a blow to the mid-section and I was a little worried.
Show me defense.

I thought he had a good game defensively. I still can't believe he made that 12 foot jump shot.

I was watching the game and not the message board.

Anyway, he played well enough to merit several threads.  Great job Lu!

I thought he was terrible.

Retarded fouls, turnovers.

hit a pretty sweet mid-range baseline jumper to kill a run too... a bit of ball-control issues, but compared to the lou of two, three years back... he's been simply fantastic... might be the most improved player to wear the purple in a while... what think ye?

Not quite.  JamSam has improved more this year.  Still, I don't hate Lu quite as much as I used to.

Colon had a bad sequence with a poor attempt at a bounce pass to Kelly, then a foul on the other end.  But other than that, he really played a very solid game, set the tone defensively early, and played exactly like Frank wants him to play.  The silly Colon hate is dumb.

he does the dumbest things. He plays hard. Can't knock that. But man. Think sometimes

The 20 foot bounce pass was dumb, so things like that stick out.  But overall, not more dumb plays than most.

Colon's screw-ups are just more glaring than the things he does right so naturally it appears he played bad. But he handled himself well early on against Pittman. Even had a couple steals and a block. Good game. Not great, but not bad.

didnt seem like colon did anything a whole lot different than normal.  the refs just didnt call the fouls on him tonight for whatever reason.  no way that happens against ukans.

Luis had a pretty amazing game, bros.  His defense was AMAZING.  Does anyone else remember last year when he went toe-to-toe with Cole "The Stilt" Aldridge for a half (back when we all thought Cole would amount to something)?  Tonight was reminiscent of that game.  Luis and Curtis really seem to elevate their play for the big games.

Lou had a great game.  Tiring out Pittman is no small thing.  We ran in to him at Kite's tonight and I did not realize that he is way under the 6'10" they list him as.  I have berated this man countless times over the years but his jump shot and the way he showed up defensively was fantastic.   Coach Martin is the sick genius of the basketball world.
