no, i think it was before that. Randy the Pineapple got ahold of EDF's pic and went apesh*t with photoshop in a hilarious thread. I think the gay dudes making out came later.
Yeah, this. The board was originally on the edge of all-out revolt because EDF got away with anything while others got banned for even the most minor stuff. Then Tom lets it leak that he wants EDF banned but he can't because EDF would threaten to sue him. Then other stuff comes out which suggests that Tom's explanation is utter horsesh*t and that EDF has a privileged, possibly financial position on phog.net.
It's an utterly entertaining mess right now. If you combine that with Tom using his personal politics and beliefs (he hates teh gays) to moderate the site's content, as well as a dearth of any relevant football content in the premium section, you have a lot of people questioning his competency and authenticity. Things have been kind of quiet within the past 24 hours, but I would expect that they won't stay that way for long.
