nope, in fact room temp catsup tastes better than 'frigerated.

I bet it doesn't matter for them because they go through the stuff so quickly. Ketchup or mustard might go bad if it sits at room temperature for a certain amount of time that restaurants don't have to worry about.
so, if like, I wanted to have ketchup and tater tots, I could just like take it out of the fridge a couple hours before chowin' down some tots, and put in the fridge later and probably be OK, right?
Most restaurants i've worked at will leave ketchup out all day and then refrigerate it at night. It gets used up most the time anyway
ketchy's is so acidic, kills bacteria. no worries on the leaving it out tip.i like all my condy's cold though, all of them. well, butter- i leave my butter out sometimes so i can spread it on my bread easier. no more than a day at a time though.
Yeah, I've spent the last few minutes trying to think of things more frustrating than trying to spread cold butter but wasn't actually able to come up with anything. I love bread. I use Land-o-lakes butter, it's worth the extracost. One place you don't want to skimp- butter.

I think the ketch/cats at the bottom of the bottles may have been there for years.
