I have 47" projection HDTV, Mitsu circa 1999. Good set still today. Bought a 61" DLP HDTV, Samsung 1080p, a few weeks ago. Now when I turn on the 47" it looks like a little computer monitor in comparison. :)

God love him.

I wish I'd kept track of how many references to that TV he's made since his sabbatical.

Yeah, it'd be an obsession, but it would be a funny one.

Compare that to kougs mentioning of his trips to Prague and you've got quite a battle. kougs wins the coolness factor though. I love ya kougs.

A close second is Koug's rants on his Neil Boortz inspired "fair" tax.  Watching him try to explain how it isn't regressive is an economist son's dream.

Dang . . . I would've figured Hoax to be a Plasma-LCD type, given his penchant for name dropping and metrosexual ways.

I guess I have to give him a few props since I own a Samsung DLP set as well.

Albeit not as big as the compensatory Hoax's set.

Notice the beautiful irony that is "jayhox"...

Quote
If Scary is Smart he will continue to have Freeman dump the ball in safe fashion against Texas and allow other players to make plays. It has worked against the crappy teams, not so much against good teams, and should keep Freeman healthy for the ku game.

I like the way our D-line has been dominating the trenches the last couple of weeks and should be able to tee off agaisnt the K-State O-line. Our d-backs and linebackers are gelling at the right time and are doing a much better kob of pass coverage.

Allow me to translate this beauty of a hum dingah...

"It has worked against crappy teams"...  "crappy" teams = Iowa State and Colorado

"dominating the trenches the last couple of weeks".... = Colorado and Iowa State

"gelling at the right time"...again = Colorado and Iowa State

Keep in mind that I said nothing for KSU's opponent...just holding hox's feet to the fire on his hypocrisy...of course we all know that has not been difficult to do.

Gotta love how CU's defense goes from being very tough "limiting Oklahoma" and on and on and on to being a "crap team" in a week's time.  And going back home no less where they have been much better in Big 12 play.

Hey don't forget; a mere 7 days after getting beat by KSU, and being a crappy team.  OSU became a highly efficient, totally functional offensive powerhouse against ku.

Hoaxlogic at its best.

How many turnovers in the first half did the Cowboys have in Lawrence?

Yeah, ku gets every opponent's absolute best effort...
As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

"knealio --- Nothing new from my K-State source. People seem to think everything is fine and dandy in football after monumental wins over ISU and CU. They seem to have lost the fact that K-State has crapped down their leg against anyone with a pulse."

THen what exactly did ku do against NU, Toledo, Baylor, OSU, A&M?

Year Five of the Mangino regime . . . which is flailing and trying to keep its head above water, while being on probation.

Hoax is focused on the 1st year coach of KSU who has his team bowl eligible.   :jerkoff:

If ksu has peed down their leg against good competition what exactly did ku do against NU, Toledo, Baylor, OSU, A&M?

This was from jayhox by the way. "

I tried to engage hox with this but got no answer from anyone and the thread got locked.  It was read a bunch of times so I know that pussy read it.

This quote is not attributed to jayhox.  It's a smack down sentiment expressed by one of his own in the thread titled:Scary Smart Crow Thread.

Since I defended the guy regarding some of his "scary" ideas, teaching a class and inviting hundreds of HS players to his spring game, I am in the VIP room. Prime Rib and lap dancers while we look down at the crow eaters.

One thing I have learned in 50 years of life is the more you wish something, such as Prince being Scary Allen, the less likely it will happen.

I notice the two ring leaders of the Scary Prince movement, Jayhox and NJ are no where to be found. I would think with all their contacts and inside information they would be able to spin this for us poor peons.

Is there anything better than when they eat their own?

Whoa, what's with the koug hatred in this thread?

Oh, and....
Mumble mumble mumble Prague mumble mumble FairTax mumble mumble f*ck off.

A close second is Koug's rants on his Neil Boortz inspired "fair" tax.  Watching him try to explain how it isn't regressive is an economist son's dream.

There's no trying about it. It isn't regressive. But this is neither the time nor the place, my son.

Hox is taking an interesting, yet admirable approach to game week:

Quote
I absolutely think Prince has what it takes to dominate this conference for eyars to come. The defeat of UT was not an upset. Upset never happen. Every single time an underdog beats a top 5 team, the underdog goes on to greatness. Every single time. It didn't matter that Colt went out of the game. It didn't matter that UT wouldn't protect the ball. It didn't matter that Sweed dropped more wide open passes inone game than he has in his entire career combined. This wasn't progress by Prince and his players. This was the statement game. Prince is now one of the elite coaches. NFL teams are beating down his door. Next year is a lock for a north title. Just read the papers and listen to the radio. It is all over for the rest of the conference.

Prince is proven and vindicated and I admit that openly.

.......................................

Quote
You are a pretender Rusty. Your avatar is aof a mere coach who has many wins but nothing of stature to hang his hat on compared to Ron the Great. Heck, Huggiuns LOSt to ku one year in Chicago when Huggy was ranked #1. LOST TO ku!!!! If you were a real K-State fan you would have Ron the Great as your avatar and symbol for all the world to see.

Pretender.

Quote
Ron Prince will render him impotent and useless to the Tigers.

ALL HAIL RON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quote
Neither Michigan nor Ohiop State has had to face Ron Prince this year. If the BCS has its sh*t together, they will pass an emergency measure requiring both to play K-State so that the clear contender can face K-State in a rematch for the National Title.

Even better: Michgan still has a couple of days to hire Prince to ensure a victory against the Buckeyes. If Ohio State hired Prince it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the NCAA and they would jump immediately to the AFC WEST to challenge Denver and San Diego for the AFC Title.

Definitely giving Ron his "propers".

    The very best.
I've seen most ku fans are talking that sarcastic approach.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
