If Scary is Smart he will continue to have Freeman dump the ball in safe fashion against Texas and allow other players to make plays. It has worked against the crappy teams, not so much against good teams, and should keep Freeman healthy for the ku game.

I like the way our D-line has been dominating the trenches the last couple of weeks and should be able to tee off agaisnt the K-State O-line. Our d-backs and linebackers are gelling at the right time and are doing a much better kob of pass coverage. K-State will not be able to run effectively and Cornish should have a field day if we hit a few early passes and force K-State to take 8 guys out of the box early.

If Bold and Daring tries to make a game out of the UT matchup, they could be in for a serious beatdown that will hurt them going into ku. If he chalks it up as a loss and plays it safe, they will be in better shape against us. What a dillema. I am on the edge of my seat.

I love it - especially the "KSU will not be able to run vs. ku" one week after "CU has the best front 7 in the Big XII".

Someone invite him over here.  Didn't he post on the original ksf.com?

Legend.

*I'm now going to dedicate this threads to Jayhox quotes over the next two weeks.

Texas game = another game for Freeman to get better.

Nothing but good for us.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

He posted a long time ago on some variance of kstatefans. Don't remember exactly what it was back then. Remember seeing his BMW in KC once back in the day. Wish I would've got his autograph.

You have been spanked by every decent team you faced this year. (OSU wasn't playing decent when you played them). Why would we have reason to think differently yet?

Terry Allen had his best years with Mason's left over talent. Scary has to take his merry band of midgets into future seasons. We'll see how that goes. If ku puts a beatdown on K-State this year then I think the Allen comparisons are still appropriate, if not more. Allen was able to beat his fair share of bad competition and got slaughtered against decent teams. Just like Prince this year.

Don't get ahead of yourself. Had I known how bad ISU and CU were going to be this year, I might have picked Prince to get 6 wins. When he loses his core players (Snyder holdovers) then Prince will really earn his keep. To be fair, he is doing better than I thought. The complete circus ended a few weeks ago, to his credit.

Yes. It is also why Freeman isn't really doing anything special. Most QB's should be able to do what Freeman is asked to do. It is also why you guys are getting spanked when playing decent competition.

What is Freeman going to do when Moreira, Figures and Nelson aren't around to make little dump passes 50 yard gains?

Little brother needs a big win over Kstate to even make a bowl.

How cute.

Count those chickens. I guess ku is a lock over Kstate. Who knew?

I guess OSU started playing decently immediately following their loss to KSU. What a joke.

I remember wanting to lynch KSU fans who touted the "Wooly doesn't get blown out" argument.

I made that argument until the ISU game in Dallas.  Then I did a complete 180.

Not slaughters.

Tell Jayhox.  His team had a LEAD against Baylor in the FOURTH QUARTER.

That, my friends, is impressive and a good sign.

Nothing special just B!G 12 offensive player of the week, most QBs should be able to do that.  Especially the ku QBs because they have several, that are all the Heisman hopefuls.

"blowout loss vs choke job loss"

You don't see any significance? I do. Especially if we drub you in two weeks. I honestly think we have a better chance of beating you by 25 than you do of beating us by 10. It will likely be closer than that because it is a rivalry game. But if it isn't a close game, it is more than likely that ku is the winner. The blowouts support that.

THe funniest thing of all . . . some of the biggest contributors on this team . . . are Prince recruits and/or in their first year of action at KSU.   Plus, I am going to say all guys are Prince recruits, because even if they comitted to Snyder, in many cases KSU had to re-recruit them.

Freeman-Prince Recruit

Johnson-Prince Recruit

Patton-Prince Recruit

Robert Jackson- Prince recruit

Pooshke-Prince Recruit

Mestrud-Prince Recruit

Josh Moore-Prince Recruit

Antwon Moore-Prince Recruit

I played pickup basketball with that clown one year.  He was a total tool, rolling up in his jayhox bmw acting like he was Jarod Hasse hustling like crazy, diving for loose balls and such.  I actually mouthed of to him about Roy choking and he got all bent out of shape.  I thought he was going to cry.   :dancin:
