i know nothing about tvs, comps, cells, etc. and here is a hypothetical stituation...

a friend works at a place where he can have multiple computers on his desk if he wants to. with his current computer and current workplace situation... he can't get ksufans and some other sites. he is going to be getting a new cell phone and provider of new cell phone.

if he's willing to purchase a computer of his own and put it right next to his current one...then what cell phone comp should he get? what's the best company to get to allow him to use the new computer to get internet w/ this new (cheap) computer? he doesn't want to just use his phone to access ksufans, etc from work or he wouldn't bother. cost? best way to go about doing this? thoughts, opinions?

friend realizes that he's pretty dumb and is up for ridicule/clarification questions/etc.

most companies won't allow you to tether your computer to your cell phone without charging you way over the top fees.  there's ways around it without getting caught (use the googles to find out what i'm talking about), - it doesn't really work all that great though.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

…How to Access Blocked Sites
If your employer nixes non-work-related sites like Gmail, YouTube, and Facebook, you could try bypassing the blocks with a public proxy — but those are typically blacklisted, too. Here’s how to forge your own detour: Download the PHProxy program from Sourceforge .net. Unzip the file and upload the entire folder’s contents to a Web host that can run PHP scripts (GoDaddy and Dreamhost offer plans for less than $10 a month). Enter the host URL into your browser. When the proxy page pops up, type your actual destination into the blank address bar. You’re now free — and free to poke away.

I think it was more because he was asking for comp advice and he wasn't real secure with the kind of phone he had... :ohno:

fair enough. tbh, we don't do straight up anal twice a day. sometimes i suck him off and other times he'll just stick his hand or maybe even just a few fingers up my ass and stuff. either way, no big deal.

what's your take on his computer situation? tia.

here's the thing though...this place isn't being blocked. it just won't load and then the web browser eventually times out. advice? thoughts? is my friend going to have to get a new job?

I think it may be the same thing.  Maybe not though.  Not a good comp. guy.  Prolly shouldn't have posted in this thread to begin with to be honest.  Congrats on the buttsex and sometimes oral or other stuff though.  Sounds hot.

thx. but tbh, it's getting kind of old. we've together for seven years now, adopted a dog, the whole nine. sparks just not there. i've got few toys on the side though so nbd. nothing big yet. pretty much just over the undies under the pants type stuff. still hot though.

in regards to the comp stuff, i'm pretty sure they are completely separate things. if he tries to go to gopowercat it instantly says "site blocked, etc". has alway been that way. ksufans worked for a year and then now just doesn't load for some reason and then times out. completely dif scenario. did mj or someone install something new or did this site change in some way around christmas?

I seriously doubt it.  Did you see the Big 12 football standings on the right?  MJ may have died 6 months ago for all I know.  This site is like a nuclear power plant that keeps running for 6 months after every human being dies of ass flu.  Any day now something will seize up and it's game over for ksufans.com.

Daris, this is worth a shot, and I think it might work.

Have you tried using a different browser at work?  Maybe even Chrome?

You can use a Palm Pre as a tether (internet connection for your lap top), but the Sprint data plans are expensive ($100+ a month).  I have a buddy who uses an older Iphone as a tether with AT&T and he never said anything about extra fees.

There are dedicated laptop wireless cards that are available.  They work pretty well, just need to see which brands work best in your area.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
rick daris, I think your friend should just get an iphone or a droid or something.  I know he doesn't want to, but that would probably be the best.  Or does he want to look like he's working and thinks a laptop will help that?

yes. my friend will hopefully get one of those in a month of two and yes his biggest issue w/ using it at work is what you said. he's in an office that people walk by quite a bit. he is allowed to nerd out on the internet for hours on his computer and it's all kool and the gang but not on a phone. that would look bad and be frowned upon. anyway, his problem has apparently been fixed so this is a non-issue right now. go khatz.

not enough info. would need to know what state you live in. hopefully oregon for you. also, were fingers of one hand or both hand, how many, whole finger or just part, etc, etc? all in all probably not much though. my guess-30,000.
