Texas Tech has suspended coach Mike Leach from all duties, including coaching the Valero Alamo Bowl, after receiving a complaint from a player and his parents.

"At Texas Tech, all such complaints are considered as serious matters, and as a result, an investigation of the incident is underway," the school said in a release. "The investigation into this matter will continue in a thorough and fair manner."

Defensive coordinator Ruffin McNeill has been named interim head coach and will coach the team against Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl.

The school received a complaint from the unnamed player and his parents regarding his treatment by Leach after an undisclosed injury.

The school declined further comment because it was considered a personnel matter.

They put up with Knight and are suspending the Pirate?
Do you think Knight ever did anything outside the lines of decency in his time at Tech?
Ridiculous

Yep, all they had to do was march Matt Boss with his ripped off arm in front of the press and Prince would've been gone.

Of course, KSU 'Cat fans are f'n pvssies, so they probably would have told Matt to rub some dirt on it and STFU.

Strange story.   :piratecaptain:

Fire Bill Snyder right now, and offer Leach the job for twice his current salary.

No backsies.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Been that way for a few years now.  "It's not my fault!  It's somebody elses fault!"

It's always easier to blame and sue than to take responsibility for being an FP.

    ANGRY AS F*CK
Wow, this is the biggest non-story of the week.  It's common knowledge (or at least I thought...) that staying somewhere dark and cool is good for a concussion.

Hope Leach takes Tech for a crapload of money and walks

Leach has been talking to other schools about coaching jobs, and Tech was finally fed up and did something about it.

What pisses me off is that they used the Lew Perkins, scumbag, pvssy method instead of tackling it straight on like a man.  They should have either put up or shut up, not slash Leach with pvssy leaks to the press.  Lew Perkins is a queef, at the risk of insulting queefs.  Tech aspires to be as slimy as Perkins.  Absolutely disgusting, this has brought a whole new dimension to political correctness to college football, and giving incentives to players to be pvssies themselves.  ku's treatment of Mangino opened this door, destroying the atmosphere of college football so fracking ku pvssies could save a few bucks.

I think this has something to do with Craig James.  I'm not sure TT is in the position to just fire Mike Leach and hope things work out with whichever journeyman they find to replace him.

His lawyer is amazingly irritating in a West Texas sort of slow talking way too.

Is it irony that neither Leach nor Mangino played a down in college?
