It is unbelievable how far we've come since the Baylor game.  It was really nice to see Jordy out there as well.

I'm not even going to think about the longhorns right now though.

No kidding.  We've missed Jordy and today showed how valuable he can be.

OLine is improved but still not that good.  The extra weeks of practice will do a lot for them but the big determinor will be the off-season.  That's when the young guys need to put on some pounds and get their strength up.  JMO

    This ZERO is my Hero
You are right about missing Jordy, he was missed alot this year.  This was important win, this really takes some of the pressure off.  I hope and think we can give Texas a game, and I think we can go into Lawrence and win, but 6 wins for Prince is huge.

It gives me the feeling that he is headed in the right direction.

Freeman is making some real progress, and that makes me really excited for his future as a cat.

Yes.  Things went very well today.

Let's keep in mind we played Colorado.  They are awful.

We play Texas in 7 days.  They are a top 10 team.

Let's keep it on an even keel and hope we can beat ku to end what will have been a terrific first year campaign for Prince.

    Overkill. It works.
What I like about our position now:
1-We're bowl-eligible, so we don't have to worry about that too much.
2-Being bowl-eligible doesn't automatically guarantee a bowl game so we still have plenty of motivation to go win a couple more.
3-Coming off a decent win with TX coming to town, we can throw the kitchen sink at 'em; nothing to lose, everything to gain.
4-Beating TX probably isn't going to happen, but I like our chances agains ku more now.

But they have not been "awful" defensively which is why the suggestion about Freeman and the OL was deserving.

CU was one of the better defenses in the Big 12..that was the most total yards, rushing yards, and tied for the most points scored on the Buffs this season.  Until yesterday the Buffs had been dynamite against the run.

    The very best.
We got our yards consistently. No big gains to skew everything. And we got our yards from our RB's, not from a fluky 65 yard gash by a 5'4 quarterback.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

where did you get your fake numbers?

Official rushing yards and yards per carry by B12 opponents vs. CU D this year..

@ Georgia: 54 yards 2.0ypc
@ Mizzou: 100 yards 2.5ypc
vs Baylor:  110 yards 4.2ypc
vs. Tech: 31 yards 2.1ypc
@ OU: 166 yards 3.4ypc (wow, big yards per carry huh?)
@ ku: 161 yards 4.9ypc
vs. KSU: 188 yards 4.9ypc

Hell, I threw the road game w/ Georgia in there just for giggles.

Yes, our running game in their house was impressive.

Next time consider the FACTS.  Glad we had this talk.

Excellent. I had a feeling kk's numbers were bad.

fatty, yes, they are skewed.  I guess he uses Yahoo stats or something and those are always big time wrong.

official stats, period.

And ku's rushing total and ypc tremendously inflated by fat midget pulling something out of his ass 70-plus yard scramble.

Ok, you can add sacks in if you want, and you threw in the Georgia game because it helped your argument.

The 211 was us.

All stats are from yahoo!.

Colorado is a 1-9 team with nothing to play for.  I'm sorry for not crediting the O-line for some brilliant performance.

Has anyone ever told you you sound like Bill O'Reilly.

"Look people, he's using Yahoo stats here.  We all know they're big-time liberals and you just can't trust anything they say.  I mean they'll just say anything over there.  You know it, I know it.  They are always just big time wrong, ok?"

okay Kat Kid, you win.  I give up.  CU mailed it in despite limiting OU to nothing in yards per carry and to 17 points until 20 seconds to play in Norman....and holding ku down until freshman pulls some things out of his ass.

But you're right...they decided to "mail it in" at 1-8 as opposed to 1-6.  You win.

I just posted some stats.  Apparently, they were egregiously wrong.  You too are busy melting down to talk.

Give me a ring when you've calmed down.

only thing intelligent I head from CJ was his mad  for Freeman.

Loved the comment by CU homer who said: "you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig" when referring to CU offense trying gimmicks w/ BJ at QB.

LOL at Kat Kid.  I disagree w/ you therefore I am no Bill O'Reilly.  Good one.  Again, you win.
