Totally agreed SD . . . we're tired of having to duck out the back door to avoid all the other conference paparazzi taking pictures, and asking all kinds of questions about what we're going to do.   We got bizness to attend to round here, we don't have time for all that $hit.

IMO, we should be the first school to go "rogue". It's an offshoot of independent. We won't even release a schedule to the public. We'll just show up on Saturday mornings at the school of our choosing with the ESPN crew and demand a game.

On a positive note, the Big 10 is so bad, we'd probably go undefeated in Football.  Then we could move on and get destroyed in the NC game ala Ohio State.  This is basically what OU is doing right now in the Big XII (giver or take a year).

Basketball would be exponentially easier and we'd be a perennial 3+ seed in the tournament, like Whisky.

I'm not gonna lie, I skimmed through that article.  Does this mean we have to be rivals with Purdue now, or just be rivals with the entire Big 10?  Kinda having a hard time keeping up with who's our rival and who is just a team we hate with a fiery burning passion cause we play them in basketball.
