we have to beat ku. I have a horible feeling if we lose were gonna get screwed out of a bowl, though if we beat UT we go to a bowl either way

It wasn't an ugly half...CU was not a pushover...uh how many on here were saying we lose??  HUH?  I told my friends we would win and win big 28-14  so I was off a little

Josh Freeman is growing every week in his football knowledge and releasing the ball quickly.  Having a run game opens everything up.  10 of 18 of which 1 was pass interference, one other should have been caught.

We had the football longer than our opponents for the first time this year..on the road. :ksu:
" and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me," Carl Spackler

guaranteed....yes because the purple nation brings the crowd to what ever no name bowl we go to. And that makes money for the hosts.

Now we have the opportunity to stop ku and make them earn a bowl bid by trying to beat MU. :beerchug:

UGLY????  We scored 17 points....and really didn't get stopped....we held them four downs from the 3....it was a good half when it counted.

Don't be too hard on Ox all, his youth is just showing through.  Ox, in the end its all about the $$$ and in regards to bowl games that means ticket revenues.  KState travels well and that means lots of tickets which means that the Cats are a guaranteed solid ticket draw for just about any bowl.  That's why everyone's so sure.  In time you will understand young jedi.

Anytime you win at CU its a good win. As for the second half don't forget the altitude. I have to believe that plays in here. We take care of business and beat ku we are fine.

With K-State they get a solid fan base that travels well. Bowls know that.

I wonder if the altitude played a factor in the 2nd half?  Maybe the def was just extra winded

I think we're lock as well for a bowl.  First reason is because of how well KSU travels, second is because of Prince being a first year head coach getting a team eligible after two years of not being in a bowl.  almost no one thought he could do it (outside of us ofcourse.).   its a good story

not counting punts, the defense was on the field in the first half for 19 snaps. i think cu made some good halftime adjustments, such as RUN OVER SEILER and ISOLATE ERKER. both guys looked like flat stanley after the steamroller went through.

will agree about Erker for sure, he is a liability.  Watts out just really sucks.  Hopefully, andrew will get better...though probably not against Texas, erker will look real bad against texas

CU made some adjustments.  In terms of running the football and playing inspired in the second half I knew that CU would do all of that.  CU has some good athletes on offense.

I don't understand some of KSU's defensive alignments at all, they just invite people to run at certain areas and that's exactly what CU did in the 2nd half.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Second half defensive troubles boil down to poor tackling.

there was nothing ugly about yesterdays game
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Did you expect CU to just bend over and die?

This is a team whose last home outing was a 30-6 win over Texas Tech.

CU was the north champ last year and has played for National Championships...

And right now it looks like Shreveport so yes, a win against ku is a must but why can't we upset Texas?  They have never played well in the confines of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.  They could very well be looking past little ol' K-State

if we have a kicker we win that game.
there was a span from 98 to 03 (with the exception of 01) that we were a few ball bounces away from the National Championship  :frown:
