Kid has a canon for an arm.  Not extremely mobile.  He will be a kid that should redshirt and 3-4 years down the road could do very well in a May/Miller/Kavanaugh type offense.

Why would we offer this kid over Blackman? Our QB situation for next year sucks. Our options are a guy who wasn't good enough to be a starter in JUCO, a guy who sucked at QB at Oregon so they moved him to WR, a guy who has thrown one pass in his college career and played WR last season, and a guy that started the first 4 games of last season, barely beating UMass, and losing to La-La. We are screwed guys.
