Sorry, I don't know that this has happened already, I was just thinking about it.

Another moronic post to add to your collection.  The bend don't break defense is Vic's.  That has always been his style.  Cosh is much more aggressive and likes the 4-3.  Keep in mind, unlike Vic, Cosh has been courted by Lou Holtz, Bill Snyder, Friedgen and Spurrier.  Vic, has been fired at a number of places including Clemson.  If he was so good, they would have kept him like they did the other coaches.

CIRE-  So you think Cosh is a Elliott clone?  What do you exactly mean and why do you think that?

How was Cosh's defense at Maryland?

Chris Cosh defenses when he's DC - Total Defense (Scoring Defense)

03 - South Carolina    53 (63)
06 - Maryland           84 (51)
07 - Maryland           40 (24)
08 - Maryland           63 (44)

underwhelming at best. his recruiting is horrible.

I know this won't happen, but i wouldn't mind bringing in a dynamic recruiter to replace Vic and have Cosh the DC.  I would be willing to sacrifice coaching talent for a recruiter.  It won't happen because Snyder puts a premium individual coaching.  As for Vic and Cosh there were obvious influences from both.  I'm 99% sure the stand up DE/Jack position was a creation of Cosh's.  I just want to know who called the corner back blitz against ku when Reesing checked out of it and threw to Briscoe for the TD....one of the most boneheaded defensive calls of the year imho, in all of football.

put him as sole DC and don't worry about his recruiting.  Hire a recruiter to fill Vic's place.  His recruiting was atrocious as well.

That wasn't a blitz it was Josh moore biting bad on a fake.

I could've swore he was taking steps at the snap and before the runningback was moving  I stand corrected if i was wrong.

Moore was taking steps towards the quarterback.

When does Mike Ekeler leave NU to come home and coach?  He recruited LB Lavonte David (someone we could have used).

Moore was taking steps towards the quarterback.

ku faked a dive to the RB and Moore bit towards the middle on the fake.  They did it to him twice on that drive it wasn't a blitz.  They adjusted after that drive and it didn't happen again.  One thing to consider on that is Moore didn't practice a snap all week for the ku game.

Why?  Didn't see NU giving him a chance as a player.   :curse:
