    The very best.

We won't forget ya big man. You'll always be in our hearts.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

If I saw MM like this by himself in public, I would go over and politely ask to shake his hand.  I would tell him how I think he is a great coach, and that I was sorry to see him resign at ku.  Then I would ask him if he ever thought about being an assistant at KSU again.  I would tell him that the Wildcat fanbase thinks you are an amazing coach and would LOVE to have you back sporting the purple jumpsuit.  I would finally wish him good luck wherever his next journey leads him, and that he should always feel welcomed in Manhattan.

No, the Wildcat fanbase doesn't particularly think he's an amazing coach nor would we "love" to have him back.  Most K-State fans regard him as unstable, treacherous slime who couldn't be trusted if he were to be allowed back. Can't see Snyder wanting him back either.  Mangino did improve ku football from pathetic up to adequate, then one amazing but fluke season, then back to mediocre.

He fracked us over once, what makes you think he would not do it again. Also, I haven't looked through many threads to see if it has been mentioned, but I heard he is going to OU as an unpaid assistant. We'll see.

    Hey, basketball!!!
Wow, just had a flashback to Mark in HD on ABC while on the sidelines in Lawrence with his cute as hell glasses not even over his eyes but just hanging there on his nose...

It's gonna be tough seeing Gill's ugly ass patrolling the sidelines with his cross. :flush:

Yeah, you and maybe 2 others.  99% of Cat fans don't want the bastard back. Why would we want an underhanded, double-dealing, heart-attack-pending with serious anger management issues?  Besides, budgets are tight; can't afford a contract to Manhattan Tent & Awning to make clothes for a Manginosaur.  :yuck:

I'd ask that question to Bob Stoops.  Guarantee he would want Mangino back in a heartbeat.  I guess only teams who want to win would do something crazy like that.  Glad our LFBIQ fanbase doesn't want Mangino.  We wouldn't want to win or anything.  Cause we belong at the bottom of the B12N you know?

I'll tell you why, because everywhere he went he's been a winner

KSU- Helped us turn the corner and begin the DOD

OU- Won a NATIONAL title

ku- Orange Bowl champions and NATIONAL coach of the year

I (like most HFBIQ KSU fans) would love for Mark to spend the last 4 years of his life doing what he was doing when he was at his happiest; roaming the sidelines of Bill Snyder directing some insanely good offenses.

I think my grandpa killed somebody once, but he never liked to talk about Kent State.

Not that i have heard this is happening.  But i'm digging through emails and I swear i saw something regarding this.  Del Miller moving up to a position in the athletic office. But that would be to awesome so not happening.  Hi Cam, my name is Del, I'm going to be your position coach.

Hey fam, since we're fam and all, I really don't have any problem telling you this.   No seriously, If I had a brother, I would probably say this to him, verbatim, what I'm about to say to you.

Sith lords all look that way.  Would be nice to get a photoshop of him wearing a black robe and lightning coming out of his hands...or maybe just a redacted termination letter.

Damn, fats.  Starting to get emotional here.  Why did you have to ruin everything, Mark?  You were our big fat football coach, and we loved you for it.
