Turner Gill is black. Ron Prince was some sort of asian hybrid.

How can you make that conclusion on Gill? Buffalo was a combined 5-41 in the years before Gill arrived. He won the MAC three years after taking the job. Gill is Sumlin with a better track record.

Boy that's about as racist as it gets. Leave it to a lib to split hairs over skin color or nationality? Doesn't matter to me. Prince was a crappy coach. I don't think color was ever a factor. Sheeesh!

Gill has one thing going for him vs crapbagronprince; he does have some HC experience. Our dumb-ass athl dept gave the keys of our FB program to someone who had zilcho HC exp. Thanks again Weefs/Krause.

Sumlin didn't have to completely rebuild a football program. Gill has already proven he can win at one of the toughest places to coach in all of D-1.

Gill's not a terrible hire. He's just a "meh" hire, especially after "It's Harbaugh".....sound familiar? If he puts together a nice staff there's no reason he can't be a blacker, skinnier, less ugly, more liked Mangino.

sumlin actually beat good teams in a good/decent mid major conference, regardless of the "rebuilding". just walk away from the sumlin talking point and focus on gill's potential staff.

One thing Gill has going for him that Sumlin, Harbaugh, Nutt, and Kelly don't have: Legitimate interest in being the HC at uk.

proven you can win=5-7?

He improved Buffalo...but to what extent? Certainly not a 10-3 record and some impressive wins over BCS teams like Sumlin did this year. Sumlin beat Oklahoma State and Texas Tech and has guided his top ranked offense to postseason.

Quick..name Buffalo's BIGGEST WIN in Turner's era? It's upsetting #12 Ball State in a conference title game.
