Both of these guys seem to be level headed gentlemen, but do not have an above average track record.  Good luck to Gill, but I see him having Edwards-like coaching success at ku.

Just a gut feeling FWIW.

Please validate my gut feeling.  TIA

I'm sure that Gill might be a better play-caller than Herm. No human being could possibly be as stupid as Herm with his 4th quarter play-calling and clock management. However, with Gill, there might be some deer-in-headlights moments when he finally realizes that he's seeing some of the best defenses in college football week in and week out in the BIG 12 and he's got below-average-talent players lined up on his side of the ball.  Herm will be glad not to be Turner Gill.

Hm...yea must be cause they're black.  Glad we don't have a black coach anymore.  Right Tony?

I'm going more along the lines of Steve Kragthorpe, w/bleached skin *edited* to keep within the spirit of the thread.

    The "other" KSU
Nice comparison - he also reminds me of the Bob Davie at ND experience back in the day... NDfan creaming their jeans only to realize that they do in fact have an overrated HC.

I was thinking the little brother, "Michael" on Good Times.  Very thoughtful, kind of a "glue" guy.

Turner Gill reminds me of a cross between Lyle Lovett (singer/formerlly married to Julia Robers) and Aaron Nevile (from the Nevile Bros).

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
