Sending tcu to play Boise is such a huge FU to everyone from the bowls.  I hope congress passes their resolution to destroy the BCS this week.  So sick of this system. 

Congress should probably stay out of that over which they have no real authority. But of course they won't. See: steroids in baseball.

congress has authority because of anti-trust legislation.  Public universities should not be allowed to participate in the BCS.

i often disagree w/ bookcat but he hit the nail on the head here. challenges are stupid, risky and probably hard. if given the choice of doing something really challenging in your career or cruising along w/ no worries. go w/ the no worries. more time to message board and eat food and do other stuff.

tcu & Boise are sitting in the fabled catbird seat.  One of them will end up with an undefeated season and so they can go around claiming a national champsionship, just like so cal did (esp. if tejas wins).  Also Cincinatti has possibility of doing this.
