I never watch if there is a no name team outside of KSU. Who wants to watch Boise State, tcu, Cincinnati, or ku? Yuck. I would watch them in playoff, but so what?
The playoff proponents are annoying because they expect a playoff to be a perfect system. They're the same people who mistakenly thought that the BCS would solve all of their problems when it was implemented. The BCS has done exactly what it was intended to do: create a #1 vs. #2 matchup. Anyone who thought that the BCS was perfect system then was as stupid as anyone who now things that a playoff system would be perfect.
