6-6 2-6 and going bowling would look bad.

Nothing wrong with scheduling louisville, just gotta win an extra conference game.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I agree with fatty, another cupcake would give the experts an excuse to leave us out of a bowl

And if we would have beaten Baylor we'd be bowling already. What's your point?

if we go 6-6 with a cupcake instead of Louisville, we don't get left out of a bowl.  the fact ksu fans travel so well, would insure we'd have gone to a bowl.

doesn't matter now anyway, we just have to be CU, if we can't then we don't deserve to go bowling

Exactly, if we go 6-6 with two top 10 teams on the schedule...we deserve to go bowling.

    Fear the Brick
The benefit from playing in a bowl game in December is greater than playing a top 10 team in September.  We really learned/gained nothing from that game that we wouldn't have learned in the conference.  If we end up with 5 wins, how much of  a beneift will it be to sit at home for the 3rd straight year?  And don't tell me that we wouldn't "deserve" to go to a bowl game if we can't win 3 conference games...at this point in time with this program and with a new coach, you take what you can get.  I'm all for playing this type fo game, just not in Prince's first year.

Yep.  I think Prince thought he could get 6 wins even with Louisville...he should have went with the sure thing.

A bowl game would do much more for us than the pride of losing to a good team.

If we finished 6-6, losing our last three game...we wouldn't go bowling. Seriously.

Winning 6 games total and having 2 conf. wins doesn't make us a bowl team, it makes us ku.

It's not the schedule keeping us from postseason. It's the fact that this season has been a huge learning experience for our staff.

Dylan Meier, Thomas Clayton were leading our offense until the Baylor fiasco..and look how far we've come in just the month of October and leading up to this game.

We're a TOTALLY different team with Freeman (rookie)..and Johnson and Patton leading our rushing attack.

The offensive line has progressed..and despite a setback in Columbia..the defense has been providing support for the offense.

The fact we're anywhere near an attempt at making a bowl is remarkable to me. Now, if in Prince's third or fourth year..wer'e sitting here HOPING for postseason...then we need to evalutate things a little closer and see if a change is needed. By then, Freeman and Patton will be seniors.

Scheduling cupcakes?....As opposed to the traditional powerhouses: Illinois State, Florida Atlantic, and a very, very down Marshall team......??? My school doesnt have a team, but for the right price we would traveled to the armpit of the midwest to play Kstate.

It's hard for me to imagine a worse meltdown than we had at Baylor. The Horror. A heart-breaking close loss would've been bad, but okay. But the # of massive foobars . . . bleah. We need a road victory so bad, and we need to prove we can play well on the road.

YOU FORGOT TOP 5 LOUISVILLE!!!!!!!

1 of your 4 out of conference schedule opponents was decent (and you played them at home), and thats not even taking into consideration that you play in the Big XII north.....If KSjcU isnt bowl elligible, there is really no one else to blame but the wildcats.....although Im sure there isnt a CU who wouldnt hesitate to trade records in a heart beat.

wait, so who is your team?

Since my college doesnt have a football program (which leaves me open for plenty of jokes, I know)......"my team(s)" are the University of Colorado, Colorado State University and the United States Air Force Academy

I don't think CU's OOC was much better than ours this year.

MSU = ISU
CSU = Marshall
Louisville >> @Georgia
Arizona State >>>Fla Atl

Comparing playing a Louisville team at home without both Brohm and Bush just doesnt quite seem the same as going in between the hedges and playing an undefeated (at the time) UGA team........The difference in schedules is KSU beat their cupcakes, CU didnt (CSU, MSU).

Kstate rolling into Boulder with something to play for...

Colorado out of bowl contention...

Their fans complaining about our schedule...

Man, it's like the good ol' times.

"good ol' times"...??? KSU had a nice 7 year run under snyder. You can make the argument that CU's run was just as short, but the Buffs have a national championship to show for it.
