I say MM had too much dirt on the Athletic Department, there was nothing to the investigation other than a Lew Perkins witchhunt and MM got more than the $6.6MM buy-out.

This is a true story, heard it from a former uk player:

Mark Mangino went to taco bell, and was mad because they were taking forever.  One of uk's past players was working there because, well, where else would a uf*c*i*gk player work, an actual establishment?  Ya, well, anyway he was so pissed he tried to climb through the window, while screaming "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?", and he got stuck.  Long story short(because he obviously was stuck for a LOOOOONG A$$ time) he tried to strangle his former player, and this was the same player that he made run stairs in a thong because thats what they do at uk.  The past player went to lew and told him which led to the which hunt that proceeded to lead to the firing of mangino because of his obese weight.
