she was hired because of ku's continued probative issues/as a result of the last time they got busted by the ncaa.

ku Law is the pride of KS.  I'm EMAW all the way, but there isn't another place for a KS guy/gal to go (Washburn=women's basketball of law schools).  TTU's is absolute trash.

You need somebody like that in house when you're up to as much no good as their basketball program is . . . pretty smart move actually.

You must be the bukake target for the ku law school circle jerk fests.  Where that with pride MTC44, you earned it (or, you could just open wide if you prefer that route).

Who is the sock?  Even ku grads know their law school is horrid and keeps on getting worse.

Hate the undergrad institution, but there is not a better law school in ks/mo.  Take off the purple tinted glasses (or go back to your terrible Washburn class.).

Either way, feel free to apply for a job with me in about 5 years.  I might consider hiring you.

Washburn should be contracted just like ku law.  Combine them into one, so instead of having two bad schools that are Tier 3/4, the state of Kansas could have one that sometimes breaks into Tier 2.  Even then, Tier 2 sucks pretty hard but at least people outside of the state wouldn't snicker at the name.

And if you think that ku law is better than Washington U in St. Louis Missouri then you most likely pay associates $75k and the only resumes you get are from the upper half at ku who have no chance of leaving the state.

Valid, WUSTL is a much better school.  I would argue ku is a better investment.

But there is no way Washburn and ku are on the same level.  Maybe 10-15+ years ago.  Also, ku already is a tier 2.  Washburn is...well...not.

I would then argue that buying a dunkin donuts franchise is a better investment than any law school but who goes to law school without a schollie paying a good chunk?  Bottomline, ku is decent if you want to work in wichita/kc/topeka and maybe ok city or tulsa.  Besides that, that name carries no weight.  I am sure you can relay several stories of "well so and so I know got a job at Sidley in Chicago" to which I can reply with 10 more stories of recruiters from large firms (the kind that pay enough for you to retire your student loan debt in 3 years, thus making it a great investment) who see "ku law" on the resume and send it to the circular file.  Bottomline, if you are happy sticking here and don't want a diploma that gives you national options, I suppose you could do worse.

It is a bad school for being the only school in the state and for the resources it has and many of the people who go/went there will readily admit they went because they got in state tuition, not because they thought it was respectable.

When did ku crack the 2nd tier?
