games do you guys think we woulda won this year if GG never would have come to mhk. obvious ones that he lost for us were lala and then probably mizzou and nubb. that would make 8 or possibly even 9 wins total. thoughts?

we would have LOST at least 2 more.

Gregory may suck, but Coffman sucks more.

If Snyder had "bit the bullet" and put in GG at Louisi and left him in there (and not removed him after 2 passes), mainly running QB draws, DT, with an occasional PAP, we win that game.

I mean this was GG's series there:

Quote
K 1-10 L41   KANSAS STATE drive start at 04:26.
K 1-10 L41   Gregory, Grant OR pass incomplete (Moore, Sharrick).
K 2-10 L41   Gregory, Grant rush quarterback draw for 5 yards to the UL36 (Zanders,
               Antwyn).
K 3-5  L36   PENALTY KS false start (Stringer, Nick) 5 yards to the UL41.
K 3-10 L41   Gregory, Grant OL pass incomplete to Snipes, Attrail.
  K 4-10 L41   Fulhage, D.J. punt 36 yards to the UL5, downed.

Not leaving him in the game was Bill's biggest mistake of the season IMO.  If he does, I think we are looking forward to Shrevesport or Houston right now.

We would have totally had the second place tractor at Farmageddon without GG. Everyone gives credit to Lamur for the block (and EL, it was badass, thank you for that), but there is no way CC makes the spin move and finds BB for the go ahead touchdown.

And life would be one million times better.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

GG helped our run game.  Without him, it would either be a CC pass attempt or a DT run.  GG also didn't have a big arm, but at least he kept the Defense "somewhat" honest.

CC runs like a 13 year old girl with big feet.  (Picture it)

In conclusion, I think we would have won 3 games without GG.  Iowa St. would have been a loss.  Also probably CU and ku.

agreed. And I want nothing to do with that bitter silver tractor.
“My arm gets tired from doing this,” said coach Bill Snyder, waving his arm.

the only game that GG "won" for K-State was the Colorado game.  and that was all because the CU nickle back slipped and GG made a lucky throw which was supposed to be to the slot receiver but instead it got caught by our wide out.

i honestly believe that had snyder stuck it out with Carson, this team goes 10-2 (loss to CU and fluke loss goes to ku but it's both QB's fault so I can't blame GG for fluke ku loss).

too bad, as usual, that snyder took the quick pain medicine instead of just taking the lumps and winning with CC.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

hmmm. i will add that GG almost lost that game for us by making a bad option pitch inside the 5 yd line in the 4th quarter and almost allowing cu to come back.

as for the "we woulda won lala game w/ grant" crowd. no. just no. you are misremembering that game or something. carson was much better that game and our passing game under cc was why we put up points in the second half.

also, how many times did the ball get batted at los against nebraska? 5? 6? 7? carson is like a half of a foot taller then gg w/ a stronger and more accurate arm.

you ggtards crack me up. gg for president! lmao.

Well if we ever needed anymore evidence that this board is full of kids scarfing down dummy pills, then this takes the cake.

Grant Gregory probably gave more (of what he had) to this team than any quarterback in KSU history.

Shameful thread and should be locked down.

yeah. my points are probably better then yours. mainly because yours were inaccurate and mine weren't.

yours was also kinda bad because you were suggesting that a quarterback who played 3 series in a game and was 0/4 while not moving the ball at all would have magically performed drastically different and caused a different outcome if only he was left in longer. not sure how that makes any sense.

Hate to be the one who has to tell you this, but GG (that's Grant Gregory) advocates leaving the stadium during halftime, even if you miss the first couple minutes of the 2nd half (and I hear he doesn't mind if college students consume alcohol during this period of time).
