BU v. Harvard is a big rivalry.

Plus Tommy Amaker as your coach helps.

Michigan State fans LOVED him.   ;)

Unfortunately for Big Blue he helped for that too.  But at the ivy league level and facing a team as weak as Boston University  :peek: he'll do fine.

    Knows What Brent Did...
Does USC still count as a quality win?

Their major conference helps them, but they will be bad in conference.  Good game not win like oregon or iowa would have been for us.

Yeah. That was my thought. Nub not losing to them looks good on the resume.

    Gettin' angried up!!!
Also, UNLV beat #16 Louisville.  We win these non-cons and take care of business in conference, (10-6ish?) and we'll be looking at a nice seed.

I'd kill for a 12-4 or 13-3 type year, but I don't see that happening this year.  Think about some of the teams coming out of the Big East every year (with mediocre conference records) that make some noise in the tourney.  That's what I would think would be the (realistic) best case scenario for us this year.  Say we end up at like 11-5, get hot heading into the dance, and win a couple there.  I personally would have an EMAW boner for several months if we made the Sweet 16.

we won't go 4-0 against our 4 good OOC teams.  At least you're realistic about our conference record, though.

I'll be very happy with 10-6 this year based upon what I've seen so far in the league.

Sweeping ISU and CU will be considerably more difficult and you know the doctor will most likely SLTH us again for one in Lincoln.

We're better, but so is the Big XII.

A 10-6 finish would be a widly successful conference season.  Just winning all of our home games would be ridic, let alone having to steal some on the road.  Especially considering the lackluster performances we've had in basically every game except most of dayton.

Yeah, I don't really expect to win all the non-cons.  Would be cool with 2-2, probably fellate myself if we go 3-1.
