I can't see this corn team beating any of the other Norte' champs.  Perhaps CU '05?

well, at least josh cherry is happy.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

qft just a purely pathetic effort by the corn today against CU.

Maybe in a few years Bo can actually win the division with his own players instead of having to rely on slasher's recruits to win it for him.

Not even close, '04 and '05 CU were much worse

If you are talking about offenses then probably yes, but if you are talking about the team as a whole I think this team would be over half off the previous BigXII north champs.  Defense and Special Teams numbers aren't flashy but they win games.  I am certain that if KSU won the north this year they undoubtably would've been the worst.

As for the recruits I'm glad we lost some of them in the transition.  Givens the OL for CU is a skinny p*ssy.  We dodged a bullet there, and the punk wide receiver that changed to KState whatever happened to him?  I don't remember seeing him do anything last week.

Well, besides the excessive blah blah leading to a lot of ha ha in the 2nd half of your post let's take a look at "half" those Big 12 champs.

'96 Nebraska pounds '09 NU
'97 Nebraska destroys '09 NU
'98 KSU sodomizes '09 NU
'99 Nebraska rapes '09 NU
'00 KSU clobbers '09 NU
'01 CU pounds '09 NU
'02 CU...tough game but CU has too much balance on offense and handles '09 NU
'03 KSU...lol, not even a game vs. '09 NU
'04 Colorado, I think this one would probably be tight.
'05 Colorado, this is one team '09 NU could beat
'06 Nebraska would beat '09 NU.  '06 NU had some studs defensively and good offensively.
'07 Mizzou whips '09 NU
'08 Mizzou beats '09 NU

'04 and '05 are the only North champs this NU team could beat IMO.

ridiculous. this one is also a blowout. Chris Brown destroys them up the gut, and barnett catches them sleeping by sending stud Jeremy Bloom deep for a 80+ yard TD pass from Robbie Hodges.

Blowout as well.

CU '02 OL not quite as good as '01 CU OL but still very good.  CU had Calhoun and Brown as RB's, an NFL TE (Sypniewski), and several NFL receivers (bloom and Hackett) and some studs on defense like Strickland, Tufts, and Brayton.

I stand corrected.  CU '02 all over NU '09.

If you think about it how many great offenses did this NU defense face?  I'm not disrespecting their defense at all by saying that...I think it's a very fine group of youngsters and an outstanding defense.  BUT it wasn't tested by any offenses most of the previous North champs had, PLUS NU '09 offense vs. any of those defenses is a mismatch.  Hell, NU put up 218 yards of offense today at CU and 266 last week at home vs. KSU.

Yes because this Nebraska team has no defensive studs.

Obviously this isn't a dominating team, but that's because they are bad enough on O to not be able to run up the score on anyone.

If they lose 71-3 next week, then we can call them the worst North Div champ ever.

I was wondering the other day how much of the talent Callahan had recruited that Bo has burned through.  It looks to me that most of the "major" contributors on this years team were brought in by Callahan.  Any NU fans that really know the NU roster willing to give us an intelligent breakdown of the Callahan vs Pelini players on the 2 deep?

Damn Crapper, Got Husker-Envy?
The Big 12 SUCKS this year. Only two teams in the top 25 is pretty bad.
Keep off the kat nip and enjoy your bowl game.

:blahblah: :blahblah: :jerkoff: :jerkoff:Keep handjobbing your old teams, and rationalizing why your current team sucks.  Nebraska may be the worst team that ever won the North, but they did win the North and you losers didn't. Suck it b*tches.

Ahh.... It's a win trike rider. Isn't there 3 parts to a football game? Offense, Defense and Special teams..
Speaking of special needs, they keeping the short bus warm enough for you?
Any of you KSU boys have a Big 12 tickets available since you won't be needing them.
